Yet another 5 star video. The analysis provided in these videos is first class, the kind of things to consider when deciding to bet or check through the turn has really got me thinking. I don't think I have been giving anything like enough thought to these situations.

DD, really excellent vid. I am sure you know by now, I think you are awesome, both as a player and a coach/teacher.

At the risk of appearing to beat a dead horse.
the AJo hand on the 7668 board, decision to VB or (value or avoid a c/r) check.
I have been asking enough questions about these type of spots lately,
that I think I am beginning to see some light.

I think its a very tough spot and very read dependent.

If villain c/r's us and we can trust his raise enough to fold, or fold river UI, I like betting.
If villain is the type who will c/r a lot with a ton of his range(which I will get to later),
I think we should check behind because....when ahead we may get a bluff out of him on river,
and when behind we avoid the c/r and get to SD for one bet.
My point is, I think both your analysis after the fact, and your different play in the actual hand can and probably are both correct.

I also want to address this hand from villains point of view.
I realize we have seen his hand, but lets pretend we dont know it.
I am more interested in looking at villains range here on the turn.
I think if villain doesn't consider a c/r on the turn no matter what his actual hand is, its a mistake.
I am not saying villain should c/r 100%, and with you as the opponent who he probably reads as SD bound(less FE), its a bad idea to c/r everything in his range.
But this flop tends to miss hero's range a lot, and villain IMO has a lot of FE with a turn c/r.
and verses the right hero, perhaps enough FE that hand strength is close to irrelavent.

thoughts?

I'm not sure about this Mickey. If we are villain we have to get to the turn first before we try and make any kind of move. On the flop the board is 766, and our opponent was the pre flop raiser. We have to consider that our opponents range is very ace and king high heavy. At $10/20 very few people are going to fold an ace on a paired board, they are going to want to see a show down with it. Many wont fold king high either. So unless we have an ace, then I don't see much point in calling with any two and making a move on the turn if our opponent bets.

I'm assuming this is a joke, but if it's not, I don't think you are going to learn much from this site.

Nice video death donkey, as mikey said you are an awesome coach.

Now to the T7o hand in the BB, i always donkbet here. Not that i hope the preflopraiser will raise my donkbet with his overcards but i feel he will check this flop a lot. Even the poor players realize that they have no FE on this flop and i wanna make sure that least one bet goes in on the flop.

If the flop were just 3 handed do you check-raise the flop or do you check-call and donkbet a safe turncard and what are you doing if you get a check-raise on a brick turn card?
