Having some full-ring mixed in to my poker edumacation doesn't bother me much, but not having the bet amounts next to the chips tilts me, hehe. Another great series dj, thanks.

I liked it i think its a good thing to be an all round player.

@4mins you have AJs on the top left table in the CO you fold to a late/mid position raise miss click or another reason? Its when you raised the 45s.

Another time the CO raises btn 3bets your in the sb with AKo you kind of dunno what to do and end up folding. It looks like a squeeze to me. Do you ever 4 bet fold to a push here? or do you just avoid the OOP headache?

Just seemed to me you were alot tighter in this one more so than the last couple is that cause of the stakes/players/money involved?

edit: what did you say to the short stacker when you took his monies?

Wasn't a misclick, the raise came from UTG+1. In a 6max game of course I wouldn't fold there, but in fullring his raising range from that position definitely dominates me. The fact that it was suited helps certainly, but unless there are some other callers or something to sweeten the pot, or if I know his playing style well enough that I can expect to outplay him often, I just don't want to get involved.

If I do enter the pot here, it'll almost always be with a 4-bet, and at that point I'll have to call it off if I get shoved on (I hate 4-bet/folding a hand like AK here). If we have deeper stacks I'm more hesitant to make that play, because I'll often end up being crushed if I get it in. In this spot effective stacks were about $1200, which isn't too deep. I guess its close, and 4betting there is probably better than folding, but you can't always play perfectly!

It wasn't because of the stakes, 5/10 is on the lower end of my stakes spectrum. Could have been variance with regards to starting hands and situations, could have been my inner nit switch was turned on. I don't think I played too tight though.

another great video DJ. Thanks for doing a FR one too, DC has really been good about responding to the requests of us nits.

The A4h hand towards the end where you stack the dude was interesting. Obv sometimes you jam the turn and you went over it a little but I'd appreciate a few more comments about what lead you to call that time.
You say that there isn't much danger of bad cards falling but was there something in particular that lead you to believe he didn't have a hand that could fill up? I would pretty much always raise for the following reasons
-Heart falls ~1/5 times which would probably kill our action
-The board pairs ~1/5 times. I would definitely be afraid of this improving him, but if he has a lower flush it will at the very least kill our action
-If the river is safe we can make it look like we are bluffing but at the same time shoving the turn looks very semi-bluffy. The only advantage I really see is letting him fire again but if he has a made hand I feel he will check and try to induce a bluff anyway in this situation. Isn't that what we are counting on happening most of the time when we call with the hope of making a big river bet that looks like a bluff?

Hi Sensei,

Ty 4 ur vids. great job man. Don't be affraid feeding us with more FR. Very interesting!

Question : min 9:30, AK in BB : TPTK.
Why no pot control? Maybe at the river?
Aren't u affraid his line strongly looks like a set?

In such situations, I am still very concerned in the question of maximizing profit with strong hands (overpairs, TPTK) vs pot control in case of facing a set, particularly in those nitty games u describe in the intro.
So if u have any advice, it's welcome!

I wasn't really that concerned about a set there because his line was so passive. On a board like that (with an ace out and a flush draw), I expect a set (or aces up) to put in a raise either on the flop or the turn. Also, the 1k nl games are less nitty and more aggressive than smaller stakes games, generally.

Hi TianYuan,

It looks like an isolated error. Try redownloading now and you shouldn't have any issues -- it looks like something with that file was off on our EU mirror but it's been taken care of now.

My favorite part was when you said, I'll call here with trip aces in case he was barreling with nonsense, and then he turns over his hand and its total nonsense.
