He definitely seemed to have had A66 since he drew 2. It seems terrible to only draw 2 there after it gets raised and 3bet predraw.

Yeah, the hand was played pretty terribly. Only thing he did right was check post draw.
Great series!! Very well structured discussion with live and classroom mix.
this was a great video on my favorite game!!! and the advice was quite spot on!
One thing you guys skipped over that I was hoping would be discussed was drawing tendencies with trips. Could you maybe give a brief explanation on when you want to be only drawing one for deception & value purposes and when its correct to draw 2.
Is it as simple as always draw 1 because you will never be playing a 3 handed draw and drawing 2 to trips is just too easy to hand read?

Pretty much, you'll always want to draw 3 with your pairs and you'll want the extra balance with your flush/straightdraws to make your draw 1 range more valueheavy when you have trips.

Pretty much what Vince said.
The only time I would draw 2 to trips is when I am pretty sure I need to improve to win. You will improve to full house or better around 10.36% of the time when drawing 2 to trips, compared to 8.51% of the time when you draw 1.
So if your opponent is pat we obv want this extra equity and the increased chance of making quads (because sometimes when we make a boat it won't be good)
