Good video, as always. I don't even play limit hold 'em much and still Oink's videos are one of my favorite things about DC.

It was interesting to see Eazy Peazy sit down at Oink's table. This screen name belongs to Abe Mosseri, who is a high-limit mixed games player (he often plays in the Big Game in Vegas when he's in town from what I've read). You'll often see him in the 1K/2K mixed games on FT, along with sometimes in the big Omaha games. He must have known who Oink was from his video rep, or he was just donking around. I guess a guy who frequently plays 4K/8K live doesn't have much compunction about capping pocket deuces OOP.

10:15 Left hand table, hero has Qh Qc UTG and open raises. Only BB calls.
Flop is Th 6d 2s, and the BB checks and calls.
Turn is 4d, and the BB check raises, and hero calls.
River is 6h, BB bets and hero raises.

Oink, had you planned on raising the river anyway or did the board pairing give you the idea to raise. If you were planning on raising the river, what cards would stop you raising the river?

10:30 Right hand table, hero has Kc 9h and open raises from the CO.
Flop is As 4s 6s, blinds check, hero bets both blinds call.
Turn is 8s, everyone checks.
River is Kh, SB bets BB calls hero folds.
Oink if the BB had folded would you have called?

27:20 Right hand table, CO open raises, folded to hero in BB with 86 o/s, and hero folds. Did you consider calling here?

Excellent vid Oink.

at 26:00, you 3 bet the FOF guy with Q9s on BTN.
although you mentioned you'd rather do this with suited broadway type cards than
A6 K8 type hands. Can we still 3 bet with these?
How far can we take this idea?
As we still have to worry about the blinds behind us, although its expensive for them to play.
Does it matter that our hand have some equity vs villains tight range?
like say 87s..or T9o, they are not dominated often.

Tough tables. Anyone who is playing at tables like these is probably wasting her time. I guess this is a good video for hand reading and playing against tough opponents, but game selection is the key IMHO. Well played, but you could not ever overemphasize the fact that tables like these are not profitable. You were getting constantly 3-bet, and I could hear you didn't like it that much..

The QQ hand seems poorly played to me. I think its a pretty easy 3-bet on the turn because there are so many rivers that we have to just call. Any flush card, straight card and T. So when he just have a naked T which he has a lot we miss value on all those scarecards which is almost half the deck.

The K9 hand I would have or should have folded HU as well. He played his hand like a draw and they all got there. So its difficult for me to see what worse hand he should bluff with. In particular into 2 players.

Generally JT players better than K8. The higher 2nd card offsets the lower high card and the obviously JT makes more straights. There is also some discussion of this in Stox book. generally when I hand select JT comes before K8 and around the same time as K9 - if you know my meaning. But carefull about taking it too far. The lower the connector the more pocket pairs dominate tthe hand. So while JT is less dominated than K8, 87 will be more dominated.

I agree. I think I said early on that the games sucked. I agree that its very important to emphasize for up and coming players that games such as these will be VERY hard to beat. Even a very good player probably couldnt get a winrate much above 1 or 1.5BB/100 because of the rake and then we are talking Bryce/Schneids/Baronzeus/Hoss quality. (Obv I dunno but I am guessing that games such as these will be hard to win at. Your generic 27/20 TAG who is decent but not awesome will probably breakeven at best)
