I'm not good enough to fold here, I would just think it's not likely the BTN is going to be overcalling here after he just flats our flop bet. (In his spot would you overcall a shove with JQKz?). Also, I'd think we're doing OK against santana's set. I don't know, I just can't fold a 13-nut straight draw with these odds. Very interesting.

Same timeline as above, would you shove if the flop had been TJ5 and so we had bottom pair? Would you shove if we had two back-door flush draws? Finally, if we had been 200bbs deep with santana and Gobravo how would you play the hand differently?

Definitely like a donk on the flop here, I think Gobravo is going to be barreling a ton when you check-call and we can't profitably call the turn again. Also we could get some of his hands with decent equity to fold and he might fold KK by the river.

What does your check-raising range look like on this flop?

Great points on realizing your equity by leading, very well said. Very insightful video overall, great job MN.

i don't think its definitely a donk, u have to remember occassionally he is going to raise the flop when u donk and then u are cooked and often he won't barrel the turn, certainly not with air. i think you are being a little results oriented. still the donk is certainly very legitimate here and i like both lines.

Yeah, I would definitely just fold if he raises. I guess at my stakes not many people raise flop leads light so I usually don't have to worry about that. I definitely see your point that Grobavo is capable of raising wider.

What kinds of hands would you raise in his spot (as semi-bluffs) against someone that's capable of leading with a wide-ish range?

i wouldn't really be raising here frequently, prob just really big hands, like a high wrap flush draw, top 2 w/ more (KTQJ, QJ+spades etc), sets. i do think donking is good here for the reasons i mentioned.

If you barrell both flop and turn, and river pairs board, do you bluff or check fold?

How would you play this spot if you were a lot deeper? Does it just become a fold or is there any consideration for calling and bluffing scare cards?

still bluff i think, nothing really changes so hopefully i wouldn't flake on the 'scare' card even though it basically never affects anything. the only problem is if they convince themselves i would check an ace high flush now that the pair came, but if they're good they're not going to think this and if they're not they're just going to play the strength of their hand anyway.

i'm not sure, whether or not to shove is just a math problem. sometimes i do call there but a lot of the time they have the scare cards themselves or call without them for the chop figuring u're on one of the other draws or are trying to fold them off a chop so it's usually just not worth it.
