Like you said his calling range is sets/lower straight/pair+FD, do you think you could even just pot it on the turn here? The only argument I can see for not potting it is to rep a wider range and possibly get him to call with sets on blank rivers but he's a fish so I'm not sure if he'll read too much into bet sizing.

i considered these thoughts but i considered for 10 dollars less i would get called a bit more. i figured if he had a set he might convince himself he had good enough pot odds to draw. I also find when people need to call less than pot they peel a bit more, potting can be a little scary for weaker players.

but you could be right, i know some people would pot out here. i don't think it matters too much.

0:20:12 can anyone tell me how you insert a time link?

anyways I do agree that this is a very interesting spot and I doubt he is snap potting the river with ace or king diamonds because like you said he would probably be betting the flop and its more likely he has a hand like j8q10 or hands like k8q10 k8j10 aj810 aj89 hands with a or k of diamonds etc... I put him more on a bluff there but we don't really know him too very much and our read on him is changing, not sure if we can profitably call

Almost forgot, but I enjoyed watching this vid. It was entertaining and some of the things you say Ninja during the vid cracked me up several times.

I'm looking forward for the next ones.

on the river in this hand isn't c/r better than c/c if you think he can't have the nut flush? It seems to that the nut flush can be a part of your range given the line you took.

good that you are considering bluffing with a hand that is potentially best but i think that if he has a better hand he is going to call here a lot. people always call me when i check raise on the river like this. a lot of people actually check behind something like a small flush on the river for this reason (they are rarely getting paid and because they know they'll pay off their bet+a 3.5x raise.

I can understand 3betting the AK36ds here if the Ace and King were different suits, but it seems kind of thin 200bb deep OOP if you flop spades and only have a 6-high FD.

nope, the difference in hands is negligible, with the primary reasons for reraising being good or bad being unaffected by the small difference in hand value (initiative/taking down pot postflop, isolating weak hand range from late position, having a strong hand based on hot and cold equity). It may be too thin at 200 bb deep, but if that is the case, it is too thin with both hands. I like the RR with both hands myself.

If you think his range is medium strength or so on the river on the left table what about c/r the river. It seems like a guy like seraphame would make a tighter fold than most?

Obv. I'm not as good as you, but I think you kinda open yourself up to get bluffed here, don't you? I mean you obv never have a boat with your line and even if Seraphim might be tight pre I think a 2/4 reg should be able to recognize this and shove on you with any hand.
I'd def. check here and decide if he bets. Just my thoughts, but I def. could be convinced of the opposite!
