Vanessa, what are you doing in the 997J hand if you are C/R'd. You want to see another card but your hand isn't strong enough to face a C/R, are you checking behind vs 1 Villan?
Vanessa is back at it with another episode of MS. PLO. This time around though, she does some live play sessions.

In the 8579 hand, isn't saying you should "never fold any sd value" a bit of an oversimplifacation if you consider the person to be competent? IE he/she should know it's a terrible spot to bluff.
In the ATTQ hand, isn't the river being a heart worrysome (because either you were bluffing turn or you are bluffing now since there aren't many hands you are valuebetting on the turn AND on this river) or should I just not worry about these things until someone gives me reason to / am I thinking about it incorrectly? + he can obviously have a flushdraw himself, no?
extremely excellent video

Why do you say our hand isn't strong enough to stand a c/r? We have bottom two pair and two flush draws... it will be a rare situation that we don't have a whole lot of outs, when we need them - and in this situation (with less than a pot sized bet left) it doesn't seem like we'll need them all that often. against more aggressive opponents, you might even get your money in in great shape if they decide to check/raise all in with a pair and wrap or something like that...

Regarding 5789, I think the fact of extreme range polarization of preflop 4-bets far outweighs the argument that I know it's a bad spot to bluff... I guess I could have ahand like AAKK but I mean, I still think it wasn't a great play. Still though, it's obviously difficult to sack up and click call for > 100BB's with king high
Can you tell me the action on the ATTQ? Or at least the timestamp in the video? Thx.
I love this series Vanessa. I'm learning a lot :-)
Probably a dumb question... what makes you decide to minraise some hands preflop and fullpot others? For example, you minraise the ATTQ - what is it specifically about this hand or the situation that made this just a minraise? Thanks.
Vanessa. I would just like to say that this is a fantastic episode, moreover a fantastic series. Keep up the good work!
Vanessa, this has been a great series, the progression of topics covered has been great, especially because it makes us try to think to keep up with you. So far, in your vids, you have been the aggressor, and thats been good to learn, but could you also cover some situations where we face a flop or turn re-raise with some medium strong hands? Talking about our thought process in these situations would be great!
Thanks,
A
Vanessa, don't know if you realised but we saw the last hand (braghand) (turning the king high flush into a bluff) live in episode 2 ;-)
Just a funny detail.
