Why do you use racetrack view? It seems -EV not to be able to own someone with avatar-expressions..

Great vid as usual Smile

Are you balanced in this spot? This play seems transparent from his perspective. Am I off base here?

there is no need to be "balanced" in every situation, this seems to be a common misconception floating around these days

At what point are we considering a player a regular and at what point is he still unknown?

and at what point does a regular become an unknown again? (Krantz raises A8s, derek 3bets, Krantz hasn't played Derek in a while)

well he's not unknown, he is a regular for sure, but if you haven't played someone in a long while you shouldn't really put too much weight into your old reads, stats or notes

yeah. Thats my question. When does an unknown become known to you?

Does an unknown become known when you have a lot of notes on him, or when you have played x ammount of hands, or a combination?

i probably answered my own question now, but still good to read a confirmation

i think it's hard to define precisely like that. you really want to look at it as striving to get as close to 'known' as possible. to do that you want lots of notes and hands, and to find meaningful patterns that you can trust in both
