OK, I have not idea where the fuck my head was during the K5K5 hand, for some reason I fcking air-headed it. We can NEVER value bet that river, Chuck and I were out of our minds at that time of the video. I wonder if we bet-3-bet that if we win, sure the flush folds.

There are some interesting hands played, that we play very well, but betting the river on the K5K5 hand is wayyyyy out of line. Granted I do talk about it after, so bare with the commentary.

The (TT)A hand where you get limp-reraised by the 9 seems like a 3 bet. If his range is some mix of drawing hands and big made hands that you are a net dog against, it seems worth it to be willing to take the worst of it heads up vs his range. You are being well compensated by having a much, much better chance of winning the pot, which is so important in limit games when the pot gets bloated.

Ya, I am going to have to agree with you, I sure hesitated like I wanted to. I do feel it can be played either way, but 3-betting, given his hand range is weighted to strong draws (club flushes), is likely a better line.

I've just realized that is is very hard to do duo-audio during live play. So, for the Stud8 I will be recording my session and Chuck and I will go over it, adding post-audio.

Hey Joe and Danza, thanks for the video. Random technical question: in the WMV format, unlike all of the other vids that I've watched (I think), it didn't seem like I was able to jump forward in the video or, more importantly, accelerate the playback a little (to 1.5x speed or something). Was this a purposeful change?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for technical issues. Love the series, keep up the good work.

We haven't changed the way we produce any of the videos -- I'll check this out when I can get on a PC and see if it's something on your end or if it could be something with this file, but the process for creating the files has been the same since day one. Smile

Hey babar,

None of our settings have changed, just FWIW. You may have changed something in your settings inadvertently or had some updates that changed something -- really hard to say with this sort of thing. Clicking a WMV download button doesn't set up any streaming for me, and would most likely be some sort of WMP plugin that would be causing that (file handling preferences on your computer).

I'm experiencing the exact same thing fwiw. Browsing a bit on the DC site it seems to only be the case for the most recent vids (starting at Vanessa's PLO ghost one), so it's very likely that some settings have been changed on your end.

Are you sure your clicking the 'save as' button and not 'open'. I had no problems at all downloading the whole series last night.

You guys crack me up, good vid too.

Keep doing what you're doing DC, I think allowing your personalities is what makes DC unique. Whenever I see another sites vid I just laugh at how robotic/serious they are. I'm going to be ending my memberships with the other sites when it runs out and keep my DC membership, fyi.

Yeah I just noticed this -- it's a bug in IE (switch to a good browser guys!) as it tries to take over how to handle these filetypes. We can (and will) fix how IE sees these files, but just so you know, Firefox isn't having these issues on any of the computers I've tested. Smile
