That avatar really pisses me off for some reason. So if it's VS me, it would do it's job.

Yeh, n3wbs will definitely give the old lady some action (ewwwwwww!)

Bit annoying they don't check the videos as soon as they have been uploaded. You would think that would be a mandatory part of their quality control.

It's not that bad. They post the videos fairly early in the day IMO (I'm even from GMT+1, so that's in the afternoon for me), so it's not a big deal if it gets delayed for like an hour or something IMO.

Hey Guys, all just relax a bit, they will get it up when the boys wake up. It's 7AM, and I just sent Rob a text, I'll call him in the next 30 mins (not sure how happy his wife will be with that...) Anyway, USA vs China, men's basketball is about to start, so just chill out and watch that for a bit!

I find that the new penguin avatar is injected with the most run good. If you make the penguin get down to brass tacks and switch over to angry, not only does your already good luck get better, but your level of play will also increase. To take that even 1 step further, if you send your penguin to the beach, you can't lose a flip, beach scene + penguin = the nuts. So while everyone loves his avatar change, I believe he's missing out on some serious run good by going with perhaps a +ev avatar, but not the most +ev avatar + background combination.

Sorry guys, looks like we've got some bugs in our new code that need to be fixed. I've logged the bugs (fortunately for me, unfortunately for you, didn't have my phone next to me last night) and we'll make sure it doesn't happen again -- the filenames had characters in them that Amazon S3 apparently doesn't like (parenthesis).

lol IMRAZIN is the illest.

This video is awesome Emil, very sweet to see someone just running over everyone. When you had the 43cc early on against RoIIos and you c/red the river, what kind of characteristics are you looking for (be it board texture, opponent tendencies, etc) to c/r? You did a c/r again with K5 on the river when you rivered two pair and they bet both times.. but it seems like when I go for a river c/r they check back and I look silly. Maybe it's my image and the fact that I'm not "known", I'm not really sure.

The most important ones are (1) is your opponent likely to bet the river or will he chk but possibly call a bet if you lead (2) how likely you are to have the best hand (3) how likely he is to call a c/r

At 42Schtumx you call a 4bet ip w/ A2dd vs. masterhp and call his cbet on a J8dss flop and then bet the Qs turn after he checks to you saying, that a checkraise would be an awful. Could you please explain why this would be the case, may it be a checkraise for value or as a bluff?

Besides that it's very good video abput how to dominate and run over the table, but sometimes there where some not so good down times where you basically said nothing. 4 Tables might be better or otherwise fill out that time by talking theory, but it prolly does not matter as long as the content is as good as in this one.

A c/r bluff would be terrible b/c that card absolutely smacks my range. A c/r w/ like a straight or flush is not a bad play because I'll bet almost all two pair+ hands and stack off and also because I'll bluff that card a lot.

Are you using Internet Explorer without a download manager?

We've been having some reports of users using IE, no download manager (http://www.freedownloadmanager.org), with connections from Europe who have been having sporadic/random download interruptions, especially on larger videos. Try using a download manager if you are from Europe -- if you aren't, shoot me a PM with the following info:

Location
Internet Type and Speedtest results - http://www.speedtest.net
Browser Type
Download Manager (yes, no, if yes, which one?)

In the TT hand vs IMRAZIN, what's your standard there on the turn. You make it sound a little bit like you called his bet because of the read you had, but I feel like I would play it the same even without that read you had on him.

Btw, when I click the download link for the mp4, it downloads it in the browser for some reason, so I have to do save target as. It's not like this with videos from before last week or something. Thought I'd mention it.

This video is truly amazing. going for the check raise on the river, with such calm is just awesome. Slowing down with the QQ hand great. But the best part is with 79o: "i am going to defend this blind vs blind. And I flop top 2 pair here, so my play was clearly expert" - I LOL'd
Keep whitlime vids coming, truly amazed.

whitelime, in the QQ hand against imrazin 45 min in, you say he mostly has a draw when he flat calls your flop raise (I agree) - so why not bet/call, that type of player could easily c/shove a draw and the stacks were right for it, plus he so rarely slowplays something on a flop that wet with being so deep and u likely not bluff-raising his lead and therefore the only way ur in bad shape once he c/shoves turn is if he has TT and didn't re-pop it pf.

Also, you say ur calling a lead on a river since he'll likely bluff a draw but how many rivers are u actually willing to call a lead on? seems like a 3,4,A,K, any diamond and even a 9 aren't great cards. Finally, if ur calling on an offsuit ace or king river - y do u think he should be checking his AdXd on the river to you?

thx

I'm surprised no comments on the 62s call of the c/shove. I thought that was a particularly bad call against his range. It sounded like you almost wanted to 'merge your callingrange'.

edit: maybe I'm mistaken because even against a higher fd you still have a decent amount of equity.

My standard is definitely to prob c-c again except against the nittiest of nits, but I wanted to point out how helpful seeing him play that earlier QQ hand was in making this decision.

We're getting almost 2:1 on this one if I'm not mistaken, and we almost have that much equity against a higher FD which is the worst hand we can be up against. A lot of times we are going to be 45-50%.

This might have been a mistake. I think it's close and betting might be better but another factor that led me to check that I might not have mentioned is that there's also a chance he slowplayed something big against my flop raise not wanting to put in a 3-bet since we're so deep.

Check my last post for my answer to the first part. I probably would fold to a bet on the worst rivers...the ones that complete a bunch of draws. The ones that are somewhat scary I'd probably close my eyes and call. I think he should be checking the A, b/c he really can't expect to get value from much. Almost everyone bets QQ again on the turn and other than that I will either have hands that have a better kicker w/ the A, or ones that have no SD value and the only value he can get is by inducing a bluff.

Try redownloading. If you're from Europe, try using a download manager. The video works fine and the audio fidelity isn't perfect (Emil's mic had some issues and we've bought him a new one since then), but is definitely not really bad at all.

Just joined this site and was pleased with this video. I'm not really feeling the shove with 5-9s at 32 minutes, though. Yes, whitelime sucked out, and the initial raiser probably should have folded to the shove with AQ, but I have a hard time seeing this play as being +ev for whitelime with 5-9s.

Yeah, unless you have a specific read, I don't think most players bluff raise in a spot like that.

siiick video, i neeed more msnl ghost series. the only thing i would say that isn't 100% positive is that while i understand you are trying to get into tough spots, see a lot of flops, and showdown/win a lot of hands for the viewers, please don't feel the need to try and win every pot, specifically 3b and 4b pots. granted it makes for excellent entertainment and some learning value, but there is also a negative aspect of this that i feel rubs off on my own play sometimes. and this isn't just you whitelime, most of the msnl vids done by hsnl players do it to some extent. i mean is it that bad to just fold to turtleicious 3/4 cbet after he 3bets you for the first time all session oop and isn't that deep? (48min) also as someone else mentioned squeezing 62s after running over the table like a maniac and obv. starting to get no respect. like you could just explain that a squeeze in that spot is often a very good play, and why, but without actually having to do it yourself due to the image you've created.

i feel like if the money "mattered" to you during these videos you might play a little differently. or maybe i just need to do a better job of separating some of the plays between entertainment/observational learning and how i actually play. it's just something to consider, and even with that said i give this a 5/5, very well done.
