Slimbo, I had no problem streaming the entire video just now, sounds like your browser might have stopped downloading the video part way through. I'd just try either refreshing the page or using one of the downloaded versions of the video. There is no problem on our end with the vid.
nice video, I might put some money on cake poker for a change of scenery. No problem at all whatsoever here either.

heh meaning what?
I watched up until the q2 suited hand where you fired 3 barrels. It just froze after that. I did not like the turn bet when the 10 paired and on the J10 hand the reasons you decided to bet the drawy Q106 flop were all the reasons I would not bet same flop, it would depend on the player completely but I found it interesting that our thought processes were so different. Granted it was just a few hands. I am not trying to claim I am correct, just an observation.
As I told another guy in the thread dangerfish if the flash version "freezes" for you that tells me your browser didn't completely download it for whatever reason, I'd recommend using one of the downloadable versions (MP4 or WMV).
Nice vid sir. If you play low stakes FR goldseraph is your man get lessons from him!

Try to update your web browser and do a full Windows update and restart your computer. If you are using Flash, make sure your are using the latest version of Flash. If you are downloading videos, download VLC player which is free and can view all formats of videos. If that doesn't work, restart your modem to refresh your internet connection.
I don't really like the AA fold, not sure about time stamp. I think its a bit too nitty to not at LEAST call.

Noticed that you talked about your opponents stats, throughout the video. I thought cake didn't allow stats. Did you look these guys up on another site or is there a way to collect stats without cake knowing. THanks
Hi Goldseraph,
Been following your great videos.
At the beggining 9:01
Comes out Js 7d 4h Th.
You have Ah Qh.
Villain bets $67 into $70 pot with $306 effective stack left behind after the bet.
You are drawing to 2 concealed absolute nuts. 12 outs.
You said you think the villain has the nut on the turn.
Could someone please verify if this math is correct?
The break even point:
To make the call on the turn we need to win a $280 pot at showdown for break even.
24% hit on river = 9 Flush + 3 kings for straight = 12 outs
24% of $280 pot = $67 turn bet from villain
We have a $204 pot going to river, we need $280 Pot.
we just need to bet out $38 on the river when we hit and have villain call to break even.
The profit margin:
If we think the villain has the nuts on the turn, there should be no problem with leading out half pot - 2/3 pot on river and getting called.
If we were to lead out 2/3 pot, it would be $136 river bet. Generating a $476 Pot to be won when we only require a $280 Pot to break even.

Hi, I said I would DB the turn because I want him to fold his weak draws, Ace his, and small pps. I think there are boards like this where double or trip barreling on the right board textures can win the pot a good % of the time. Sometimes I give up esp if I have some equity, but having position here I felt I'd be able to read the opponent's range pretty well and bet accordingly. I'd like to hear more on why you did not like the flop and turn bets if you find time. Thank you for commenting ![]()

Timestamp was around 20:00 -
I raised UTG and cbet into 3 opponents. This opponent is very nitty in my experience and raised into me and 2 others. He also raised from 20 to 46 on a dry, monotone board IP. In my experience this is a set trying to build up to pot so that I will feel committed and end up stacking later in the hand with overpairs for sure, where I might fold them to a large flop raise. Trust me I didnt like folding here, and it is possible he has AJ or QQ once in a while, but I am happy losing 13 BB here and giving him credit.

Convert cake HH's to stars HH's with the converter tool (search on 2+2 forums). Then you can load them into HEM and look up players stats. There are no allowed huds on Cake though, I just have looked up my stats on some of the regs before and remember their basic stats.

Villain bet 70 into a 67 pot, plus I am OOP. If I call that huge bet, then donk out on a heart or K river, I think he would be pretty alarmed. Hopefully he crying calls with a set, and prob folds all less hands. He may even find a fold if an ugly flush card comes. It is a very close situation but I suspect a losing one for me long run.
Thanks for your answer
nice vid Goldseraph. At 37:00 you have AA and check turn and go for value with small river bet. You said villain is very nitty and you were concerned because he called your flop raise. On that scary a board I don't think your ever getting called by a worse hand and I was thinking there was as much value in checking back to see what type hand he would call flop raise with.
LOL I'm in the vid! Nice to see I got a orange dot. I'm LOLGingers, what do you think of my play goldseraph? I play 21/14/3 and have been running at ~9ptbb/100 at 2/4, olny 40k hand sample though. Any flaws or leaks you notice in my game?
