What's up guys, hope you enjoy the video.. the powerpoint went a bit long (like 25 mins) so if you hate that stuff or get bored easily, jump to 25 mins to watch me play Poke Tongue

Hey man, pretty good vid. You have a lot of good things to say, and you get your thoughts across well.

I would like to see a session review at the end tho, as I think these help to break down key hands better than you could while playing. Also, I personally would like to see more vids at 50NL, and would like to see the adjustments, if any, you make for the play at this level.

One more thing I would like to note is the powerpoint presentation. You had a lot of good things to talk about, and explained your points well. That being said, I think you could have made it look a little better. Not a big deal, but just would improve the overall quality of your vids.

I hope that we can continue to see more FR vids. I think one a week on a Sunday would fit into the schedule well, and would make quite a few members here happy.

Enjoyed the playing part more than the powerpoint although it doesnt hurt to cover basics.
For future videos 100-200 Full Tilt is fine, just keep them coming. Id like to hear more analysing various board textures when c-betting etc.

The JJ hand vs the loose passive guy is interesting, at the time I was thinking that the shove was pretty standard given that he had donked a couple times, air and draws make up a reasonable amount of his range.
However when we see him donk small/fold it's perhaps the case that he plays his hands face up like that.
I dont think the read was that apparent at the time so I still like the shove.

Nice vid. I'm playing 6-max now, simply because there is so little learning material out there for FR. Would love to see some more and would love it if you threw in a microstakes vid Smile

At about 35:00 w/ the Q8s when you cold 4bet the aggro regs 3bet to 70 it seems like you have odds to call if he shoves over the top, would it be better to make it something like 56 so that you can fold to a shove? I'd think the fold equity would be the same reguardless. Liked the video and would love to see more at 100 and 200nl.

ipod version please - thanks

Since he 4-tables after the powerpoint section of the video, the vid is a 1600x1200 size and won't be made available as an iPod version -- sorry about that. You can use Mediacoder iPod edition (free) or other programs to convert it for your own use though, but I do have to say that you'll be unable to see chips, stacks, or probably even cards when he switches from powerpoint to 4-tabling.

Thx for quality FR-content, anything from NL50 to NL400 in the future is fine.

not sure if that A3o raise is gonna be profitable esp against a shortstack, but its entirely possible that punishing LP limpers has more value in FR than in 6-max so i'd like to hear some thoughts on that play

Hi tuba - I think it is a pretty standard raise given cirumstances, if it were a nitty or pro shortstacker I would have checked, but he had been active thusfar, and since I didn't have hands on him I can assume he is prob not a reg/pro. I feel that a CO limp is very weak, and that my PFR or Cbet is going to win it a good % of the time, and sometimes I will flop obv. There is def a lot of value to raising limpers in FR because people do it so weakly, thre are many 20-40 vpip, low pfr guys that routinely limp-fold, even from LP.

agree with this not being a great raise, you seem to dislike limpers and shortstacks just for the hell of it

that being said i think its a good vid, teaching solid strategies to win at lowstakes FR and as ive been screwing around at 1/2FR a bit it helped me have a better idea of ranges of regulars and which hands to open from EP

you missed value with 66 when u check called his min bet on turn and riv u can check raise to 8 on river and get called like 100% of the time by a range that has almost no hands that beat u.also i crush the win rate u think i should have for my stat lineSmile

Hi

I've watched your video several times over the past few days...& have picked up some new moves (happy to report they worked)....more please!
I play NL FR 200. Exploiting opponents tendancies & being a successful hand reader is where I need to improve my game as ABC play is proving predictable!
Thanks again

"Fuck him, I'm raising." --- I lol'd.

Apparently this isn't the proper thought process to go through when deciding to raise a villain.... I always knew I was doing something wrong.

Nice vid.
