great video.
What do you think of checking behind with 66 on the 8s4s7h board? Is that bad?
In the third episode of Dear FoxwoodsFiend, FoxwoodsFiend looks at some 6-max hands and a full-ring hand history, breaking down some tough concepts and showing how certain plays can make reap metagame rewards in later confrontations.
Dear FoxwoodsFiend, how do I play this hand? Ariel plays Sherlock in this interactive member hand history review series at mid and high stakes No Limit. Each episode concludes with a review of one of FWF’s own hands. Keep an eye out for some hands from our Executive Producers, as well!

High point of the week, can´t wait to see this one.
A really awesome video again!
I hope u will continue this format after Series 3,as its probably the most educational stuff on this side!
great video.

well i don't understand why you would want to give up free cards with what is almost definitely the best hand at the time against a guy who's limp/calling and thus not likely to be check/raise bluffing super wide.
Good video, as always. However, this video has one mystery that has yet to be unraveled. So, FWF, what exactly are poop dollars?
so sick. i love your vids fwf
these are all quite good.
The AK hand you kind of contradict yourself but what you said makes lots of sense about check - calling the river instead of betting, If we bet the flop like you said do you continue on the turn because of the draws to protect our hand rather than go for value?
Really good vid by the way can you do small stakes like 50nl or is it only mid stakes hands?
Thanks
For the first AQ hand:What do you think of a turn check call instead of a cr if the villian is an aggresive habitual floater,as the board isnt to wet?
wow,
one of the best videos I've seen on the internet. Made me blow my mind.
Keep up the great work!

I think it's fine but I'd prefer giving people chances to semibluff it off. It does make future check/calls more credible but I think once you've shown you can check/raise the turn in these spots you don't have to worry as much about turn checks exposing yourself to automatic barrels in the future.

I definitely bet the turn in the AK hand. I had a feeling I was somewhat tripping over myself in that hand's analysis, wasn't happy with it: if you have any "contradictions" you want me to resolve hopefully I'll be able to clear up my thoughts on the hand, it just got way more complicated than I expected while I was going over it.
And no, I don't think I'll do a small stakes one for a while: to have insight into those games requires a ton of hands being played (like I did for Moving on Up) and truth be told I don't think I'll be able to commit enough time to talk about those stakes again (at least not for a while)
I didnt mean contradict to be bad/worng in anyway the hand changed greatly on the turn and your anyalas on it was brillient imo I figure alot of people including me will bet this river where as if you check you make more $. I must check out the moving up series!
Love the AK hand at teh start.
I just keep thinking about it.
I was acutally thinking of c/f the river because we really beat nothing expect worse flush draws I suppose.
His range is hugely filled with showdown value hands and it would just be soo so soo weird for him to bet the river.
FWF could you please explain what you would do if the river was the Tc or Th or any other random club or heart and he bet the river?
Thanks

Tc is a fold, Th is a call imo
Sick video, this series is the best on DC

Searched the internet and found a replayer, that should work for partypoker. You could check it out: www.universal-replayer.net

That's the one we use (the one Ariel uses in this vid), unfortunately it's pretty buggy with what sort of hand histories it will convert.
Rob
The vids are great, thanks.
At the end of the episode 2 you mentioned two hands between Internet Pokers and Boosted J. It looks like you forgot the second one.
I'm ahead of my time right? lol.. FWF, is this some of the same thought process you were looking for in hand 1?

Also, i feel like an idiot, but some of the "big" words you use is hard for us donk europeans to understand ![]()
Great video again!
You obviously have much more experience than I do, and really opened my eyes regarding the fish minreraise and small bets. I always thought that a minreraise is KK+, and because of that I almost never got to showdown unless I hit a nuthand. Also didn't have the balls to raise the 66 and push the river, think he isn't going to fold a better hand and we might have showdown value. So I'm gonna implement those things into my game and start spewing
About my JJ hand:
With what range would you 4bet and get it in there? And with what range would you call the raise OOP?
Thanks alot for pointing out to bet about 45 there, it looks bluffier and less like 'I want you to raise' and at the same time gets me more money.
This was one of the funniest and most informative videos in this series yet, keep up the good work. My personal favorite line:
"God dammit he's value betting again".
I don't quite agree with the pair of 10's hand in the full ring. I think when fish is miniraising, we are very often behind. I think it's usually balanced towards QQ+ and AK. What are your thoughts on this FWF?
Just started this series. Flashversion stop like 15min for time. anyway good vid.
