not sure why the 22 hand was in there, seemed really straightforward, other than that nice video and nice analysis. Id also like to see more 4 tabling live action style vids, but these definitely have value with the more in depth commentary.

Have to say I agree with this. More NLHE 6max live play videos please. There's too much powerpoint (I personally learn visually, not by ear) and replayer (ok but all the other hands in a session are just as important to learn from) videos this season.

This probably doesn't belong in this thread though, so let me just finish by saying I love your vids DJ and this is by no means pointed at you specifically. Just a comment about DC in general this season.

Yea its a fairly standard spot, but I feel like many people manage to screw it up sometimes. Hopefully at least you can learn something from the thought process involved and apply it to other hands.

You really feel he handselect well? I really feel he handselect very bad. The AA hand and the AK hand is just insane to show, its so standard and looks like a brag, sry to say that - but i just sat and almost got a bit embarassed to look at it. 4bet shove AK 100bb deep isnt worth showing, definately fokus more on hands like 22 (first hand of the video).

Well, each episode I choose about 12 hands from about 1000. That being said, I choose the hands that seem the most interesting to me, and generally try to choose hands that have more postflop action. Many of the spots that could become more interesting just end on the flop when they fold to a raise. It could be that there are some hands in the bunch that I overlook because they seem standard and boring to me, but they would be more interesting to yall. Its hard to say.

So, since I make this series for all of yall, why don't you give me an idea of what kind of hands you are most interested in seeing (in a deepstacked MSNL context of course). If I can fill an episode up with those particular hands, then I'll do it. If not, maybe I'll switch back to a live-play format next week so you can see every hand (but without as detailed an analysis, of course)

I love this format. DJ these last three videos are frickin good man. I don't need all this info to beat my current limit, but I'm going to be a poker nightmare before it's all done. These videos make me happy.

I like this kind of format for the videos. The last hand of the video is the best one I think, the one where you fold KK on the flop. I'd like to see more hands of big folds. I usually learn more from seeing people lay down strong hands thank from people owning a table.

I would like to see hands where your put to the test. Spots where your uncertain on what to do and have to make a choice - not hands where u 4bet shove AA or w/e. Def dont want to see mroe AA hands lol, they often play themselves. I hope you understand what im looking for. The 22 hand was good, but then again, i guess i read comments about "whats that hand doing there" and maybe those guys loved to see u shove AK, meaning u have a hard time making everyone satisfied. Also consider live vids soon? GL

in the A5dd hand, aren't you afraid that he's a fish since he only has 700$ at a 5/10 table, and therefore would only be thinking on level 0 (aka only playing his hand strength, not thinking about what your hand looks like)?

DJ it's IhaveSeizure... Since you mentioned it i'll tell you I had the second nut str8 that hand when you had KK. I probably bet a little too much on the turn. However I think that's a super easy fold with KK. Good video as always.

Yes, that is of more concern when playing against a suspected fish (and a $700 stack is certainly a clue of such things). However, there aren't too many players at 5/10 and above that are true level 0 fish nowadays, so even the suspected ones usually are more aggressive than the fish of the old days (they mostly just misuse aggression and pick bad spots). Also, when I'm playing against somebody for the first time, I generally lean towards being more of a callstation than normal. In today's aggressive games, its often more correct to do so anyhow, plus I gain more information about their hand (and thus likely ranges), whether I win or lose the pot. In this particular case I gained a lot of useful information by seeing the hand he showed up with.

I think for DJ Sensei this format works best. Every hand is like a detailed, in depth case study.

in the A5d hand, why did u just call? I think that shoving would be better option, becorse in that situation that fish is unlikely to have a good hand, 99 is top of his range and he can even fold that to a shove and if he calls u still got outs. Villains line is so weak that i think that calling is bad play and shoving would be much more better. (im sorry that i didnt write more, but im not se good at english so... Smile )

I like your thinking. Not sure if I prefer raising to calling, but its certainly close. I think the difference really comes down to what he'll do with those mid pair hands like 99; if he never folds those then I prefer to call, if he often folds those a raise is probably better.

What if the CO 3bets in the AKo hand, what is your action ? Do you cold 4bet and get it in VS most aggro regs ?

Yea that's generally the plan against aggro regs with <100x stacks.
