At any stakes would you guys raise 10 2o vs shortstacked unknown. Is it possible to overcome the rake at 2/4 or even higher levels (3/6, 5/10) hu?

Awesome vid btw

Would you be more likely to 3 bet if you had a higher flush draw still with the 7 of spades? Even though he wouldnt chk raise you on the flop often does the higher flush draw and over card make it worth jamming the flop?

Yeah we have a better 7 there as well so I would - certainly A7/K7 and maybe Q/J

No, not vs. a shortstack unknown. In my experience their default 3-bet is high enough and T2o is going to be a loser on the button.

i havent watched the video yet (im at 'this is danzasmack here coming at you with another episode..."

but can we better define shortstack?

there are certainly situations where any two cards are going to be a raise on the btn for the price we are getting vs a 100% range.

if villain has 1BB we should be raising because we have 41.67% equity vs a random hand.
we are risking .75 to win 2, which we have the pot odds for (we need 37.5%)
if he has 1.5BB we are risking 1.25 units to win 3, which makes it neutral ev.
against some players there is still fold equity with stacks of 2-3BB, so against those guys it can also still be profitable to raise.

Also, sometimes we like to gamble, amirite?

Good point LQ!

I meant 10BB fish when I said short stack.

If the villain had the button 1st and folded then I would probably default open T2o.

Very surprised by this turn fold w AQ. I'm bet/calling down for value barring a rivered club. I'm hugely discounting a K or flush, we have nut-no pair and are drawing dead rarely imo.

Later in the vid you say you like this fold because we see evidence that he'll open limp Kx. I feel that most Kings are putting in more action on that wet flop and that the 3rd flush card, pairing the board, can put many semibluffs into his range.

Sorry to be so late to the party, but is there any reason Joe sat down with 10BB and didn't have auto-reload on? HUHU is such a different beast, that I have gotten in the full 12BB in like 5 occassions...

I usually sit with 10 and it has never been a problem for me but if that has happened then by all means sitting with 12+ is a good idea.

TBH, for me, it's a small amount of superstition. I just think that I get more action when I sit with the default.
