Ohh girl2girl action! +1 one star just because of name.
Now sereusly if i may add on relative strenght of the hand when you have the nuts on the flop its sometimes not that great hand.
Even when you have nuts with bunch of redraws like [JHeart KDiamond 7Diamond THeart] on 9Club 6Diamond 8Diamond board (nut str8 with bigger str8 redraws along with 2nd nut flush draw) it is possible to wake up just flipping (vs top two and NFD) after you get all the money on the flop instead of HUGE freerol you would expect... so should i have naked str8 there i'm not sure i would be thriled to put any money at all especially OOP in multyway pot.

Hahahahahaa!

Please, please, please another NL 6Max series from Vanessa. I don't play PLO or HU, so I only really have UW from Vanessa on DC so far and would love more from her.

When you have KK97 on the 862r board, your equity when you get it all-in turns out to be not that great:

Yeah it's pretty much never going to be too huge in these situations - I guess the point is more you're never a massive dog really and you're ahead a decent amount of the time so the pot odds usually justify getting it in.

Vanessa, love your work. I was wondering if you could possibly do a breakdown of situations where you would raise less than pot when bet into or bet significantly less than pot on the flop (not just a normal cbet size). I.E., you had one hand with whitelime where he bet $10 into $25 w a NFD and a BFD and a BDSD to induce action.

another good one, just a question

on the last hand, what do you do to a cr ai, standard fold to a passive player?

Hey Vanessa,

Great Series so far. As a total beginner to PLO what kind of Pahud-Stats would you recommend (or do you use by yourself)?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I saw your video from Ms. PLO series, video number 5 about playing non-nut hands, where youre talking about situations where its good to call people on flop and turn and hope that they will shut down. I guess its all about HU with an aggressive oponent and you should have the possition.
I wonder what am I acomplishing with this play? Lets say the flop is monotone and a guy bets twice, I call with a set or 2-pair, hoping that he will check the river. Is this bare-ace-bluff catching situation? So I should call even with a weaker flush?
What if he checks to me on the river, should I turn my made hand into a bluff? Mets say I have top two on the board 78J2 and then A comes. Should I try to bluff representing Aces-up?
What if he bets a weaker flush, like T-high, because he is aggresive and have flopped a flush OOP, he tries to get us out of the pot by 2-barreling. Should I bluff him on the river, representing higher flush? As I understand your expanation, the turn bluff by reraising with bare Ace is great, because turn aggression is very strong, and the whole bare-Ace bluff should be used by reraising, not by betting and representing my A-high flush.
Im not sure, if people with weak flush are going to 2-barrell me and then check/call the river. Maybe fullpot river bluff is much more succesfull that some sort of a 2/3 pot bet bluff.

Vanessa,

After hearing your analysis of this hand, I am wondering why you called? To me, this was pretty close to has much as you could hope for shy of flopping a full house, and in spite of hitting this flop pretty hard you are still in a situation where you have to play timidly. The fact that it is a 5 way pot makes it just horrible. Obviously, your post flop play is great.
