A lot of people who watch this video probably saw the A3s thread I posted in the Small Stakes forum. The MP villain from that hand is Portello, who figures prominently in a few of the later hands in this video.
Entity reviews previous hands of pygmyhero's as they talk about what strategies were applied in the moment and what optimal strategies hindsight can always show us.
Entity moves on to the next element of success in 6-max Limit Hold'em with his protege PygmyHero: super shorthanded play. Watch as they walk through the basic principles of 3-handed and 4-handed play, showing how starting your own games can often be the quickest and most profitable route to complete domination.

Really Great vid,
I see a day coming ...and equal billing will be in order.
I do wish Entity would have commented on the A3 hand.
You guys are starting to mesh.
the AK hand with the A25 board. We had two callers and no freaking idea what they could have.
I was screaming at the screen, "the Ace is not in the btn's hand".(I actually had the raiser on 43S, which is wrong, but not far off)
Any Time things dont make sense, its not always them! it just may be something we are missing.
READS are part of the math. I love the .."reads TRUMP the math", I gonna use that one form now on.
The last hand, 45s. I too in a vaccuum would bet out the flop, but your read pygmy TRUMPED the math, or normal play.
Pygmy, you are making "bad looking" plays. And you are making spectacular plays. These are moving you in the right direction IMO. go with your reads, let/allow/insist yourself FU once in a while, and you will improve very fast.
Entity, you should thank pygmy, he is making you look very good!
Course, I guess that works both ways...hey pygmy.
I really liked this video and agreed with all the critiques of Pygmyheros play with the exception of the last hand. Your opponent value bets the river, and for some reason you raise? This is so beyond me. You are beat by any 9 or any flush (vast majority of his range), and out split with the other set of 4s possible. I don't know what hand it is that you think he could have that you beat. I understand calling because you've already got a lot of equity in the pot, but the re-raise in this spot makes absolutely no sense to me. All you beat here seems to be air. Not even a lag is going to take a pocket pair this far on such a loaded board texture, and then value bet the river. If his play here does make sense, could someone explain why to me?
