sweet. nice surprise to have rob on here
oh nice... rob and josh in one vid!
nice vid. Really liked the stats, need HEM asap.
very nice surprise! Keep it up with the review vids DC!
HEM-Hud also has the following stats:
3-bet sb vs steal
3-bet bb vs steal
You should def add those imo.
Far better than just seeing the lone 6% overall 3-bet stat.
Really good vid its pretty long so will have to watch it a 2nd time as there is so much in it. You say your doing this next season your cards are a problem for me as im coloured blind the red and brown are pretty hard to tell apart probably just me but just thought id say the hand where you had AA the the guy had A6s i thought he had won the flush.
Would be great if you gave us pointers for the colour coding with HM you stared talking about it but some hands came and you didnt get to finish, Also how do you hide some of your own stats i thought it was have all of them or none but you seem to have hid some of yours how do you do that?
Cheers great vid looking foward to the next 1.
Just wanted to pop in and say this was a lot of fun and very very very educational again. Much thanks to Josh. Also, with his permission I'm going to post the necessary files to duplicate his HUD of awesomeness, probably after the last line is color coded though. I'm kind of fond of it now after it confused the hell out of me for the first 1/3 of the video. :)

wow I wish pt3 would add that otherwise i guess ill have to buy HEM just for that, so useful
PT3-Hud has it too. :)
Its called:
Raise BB Steal ATT
Raise SB Steal ATT
finally i know who this asdf... guy is ^^
I loved this episode, especially as a new member it definitely will make me go back and watch this whole series. It has definitely made me realize that my datamining is not enough (only hands I've played are on my PokerTracker) and that the key to beating regs is finding their tendencies through sample size and thus exploiting that, and just guessing and checking whether a guy 3bets light etc is going to end up in high variance, generally unprofitable play. I will be buying holdem manager shortly and I can already be sure that this video will make me thousands in the future. Cheers.
hey is there a way we can get to use your HUD?
have you customised your pop-up too?
also is there a squeeze stat in HM?

I'll try to get his HUD posted later today -- dunno for sure about the popups. There is a squeeze stat, but Josh mentioned he had problems getting it on his HUD, I'll look into this when I have some time. :)

Very cool.
Thanks.

Plus 1 i get an 2 text files full of code and 1 xml file what do we do whit them?
Copy the files to your HEM directory under C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config. Make sure to back up your current ones if you don't want to lose them.
sorry, i suck at computers....when i download the file, i get a .rar file. what do i do next with it?. i copied it into the directory, but does nothing. do i "SAVE AS" or rename over another file?
Use winrar or maybe windows version of this (Winzip?) to extract it. Then when these are extracted just replace the current files.

Yeah, WinRar is what you'll need to extract those files from the archive.

thanks for the help....how do i make the numbers a little smaller so the lines dont overlap?
Very interesting vid, guys, thx for that. sthief, is there any possibility you could make a whole movie about stats in this season? l know you did this in the limidonk-series, maybe you could make a sort of update-vid for HM and the new generation of stats?
I copied each folder individually into the correct spots and it killed my hud entirely. Now it says "couldn't find Sample.pop" when I go to the player preferences menu. Like a retard I didnt backup my previous config files. Does anybody have a clean config with those three files in it in an untouched format? I dont really want to reinstall this beast. Thx.
sick ending to this series. I do have a question about the AJs hand (where you decide not to cbet w/ the deep stacks). Do you even consider check/raising the turn as an option? While I was watching and before we saw a showdown I was thinking that would be a pretty sick play, but maybe I just like to get FPSy with deep stacks.
It would suck to get 3bet off our hand, but really the only hands he's b/3betting here are sets and straights, which I think are a narrow part of his barreling range since our hand just looks super weak and most people will just fire two barrels with anything IP with deep stacks. If we do get called and hit our hand is very disguised although I'm not really sure what sort of range bet/calls the turn and is able to stack off on a club river other than lower flushes. Maybe we have too much equity with the nfd but what if we had a lesser draw?
anyway, loved the series and look forward to catching up on part 2.
Hi,
Enjoyed watching this fantastic series, but it appears that this episode crashes at 27:42.
