Enjoyed watching the review Josh, some interesting points on my bet sizing and play in certain situations like the 88 hand Vs a Short Stack your suggestion was different to how i normally play that. Shame i had to watch the rivered Ace on the TT hand i had forgotten all about it until then Smile

good video

At 6:00 PlynOnTilt has KHeart QDiamond and raises to $7, CO (TAG) raises to $24, SB (TAG) 4-bets to $67 and PlynOnTilt folds.
What if he had AK, QQ or JJ instead of KQ ?

against 2 TAG regulars, I'd push all of these hands. IIRC, it was CO vs BTN vs blind. so we're opening light, the button is 3-betting light, and the SB is a regular who I'm sure realizes this. if we raised UTG, the HJ 3-bet, and then the button 4-bet, then we have a much tougher situation since everyone's range should be tighter given that we raised utg and the 3-bettor 3-bet from an early position as well. in that situation, I think I'd seriously consider letting go of AKo since I probably figure to have almost 0 fold equity and AKo just won't be in good shape against a tight 3-betting range and a super tight 4-betting range. I think the "QQ is the nuts preflop" rule still stands though and I'd push with that.

Another excellent installment of this series, glad to hear you're thinking of doing this again next time. Very informative and Josh's usual clear, concise narrative. Can't wait for the surprise in episode 8 Smile

Another 5/5 for Josh. Surprise surprise. My favourite DC instructor at the moment.

I don't know if anybody reads this because it's an older video(I am new to DC) but I will post it anyways.

At 16:00(table on the bottom right) A tight player, but not total NIT opens UTG and a loose 30bb shortstack min 3-bets and Hero openfolds his AQo.

I wonder if you just missed that hand because normally you comment even on the very marginal hands(good fold, good raise etc.) or is this such a clear fold?

My play would be here to make it 30 and fold to further action from the UTG-raiser and snapcall a push from the shortie.
