Not really because the hand is too good to fold so you either have to call or reraise. Reraising will always just be the better play.

Yeah, against almost all players, I'm repotting and am pretty happy about it.

I watch videos on blue fire, card runners, stox, dc...and I have to say, this is easily one of the best PLO vids I've ever seen. This is easily on par with or better than the sort of content Phil Galfond or Lefty2506 is putting out.

The equity realization discussion about the 88 hand late in the vid totally blew my mind.

I'm confused here. is it standard to bet JJK10 into 3 other people on an A84 board that is super dry? HU I understand, but aren't gutters gonna peel once and most Aces? Do you expect to show a profit here? Or did you have some sort of plan to barrel that you didn't discuss?

on table 2, can you talk a little bit about the cb into 3 ppl oop? i feel with essentially zero nut outs this going to be tough to play on the turn and river even if you make your hand.

yeah this is probably the best plo video i've seen on any site and the best video imo emil has ever put out.

thanks for doing it. will the series be mostly deep stack play? as a beginning player i wouldn't mind seeing some more 100bb play but i could be in the minority there.

I think it's pretty likely that you show an immediate profit just betting this board. You can double barrel occasionally depending on who calls and what falls, but usually this is a board where you can bet once and take it down very frequently, and occasionally turn a nut out or a card w/good barreling potential.

You definitely can show an immediate profit just betting and you can continue betting on any broadway card.

Why value bet so big on this river? One of the draws came in, but that's just a smaller part of his range. Wouldn't you expect to get looked up by an Aces up type hand if you bet more like $130? I don't think any worse hand other than a set of 2's pays you off here to a bet that big.

Maybe the 200 bb deep is throwing me off a bit but I thought, generally OOP we wanted to shove money in as fast as we can with big draws to 1) avoid making a bad fold on the turn and 2) our equity drops in half on the turn when we miss.

2x6 with vanessa selbst explains this at length but in short we don't flop sets often enough, the times we do it is pretty easy for us to be overset when we get a ton of action, and really having an extra card towards something like a wrap is way more valuable than having a paired card which is dead weight. Even if the unconnected card provides only a gutterball that is still 4 outs vs. 2.

That's not really a polarized range in PLO and we do have the bottom of our range with this hand. Surely some of the other bluff c/r hands will have hearts in them as will some made hands. Seems like a pretty mandatory bluff for GTO purposes.

Yes to both of your new scenarios. In each one, your allin equity against a normal flop stackoff range for your opponents goes up a ton.

Also remember that you get away cheaply when you miss and that you can decide what cards more money goes in on. There are advantages to playing draws passively as well.

So do you usually fire a 2nd barrel if you have 456x or something like KKxx with s? Do you ever bet that big on the river with a busted FD, or do you not care that much about balancing your river bet sizes at this limit? To the 2nd question, I think the answer would be "no", since if you had a busted FD, he would be less likely to too, which would weight his hand more towards sets/2pair/straights that would call.

There are a few spots where it's 4 handed post-flop and you basically cbet with no strong hand or draw, twice from 2nd to act in the hand. Why not just give up in these spots?

I am not a huge fan of the lead here on the flop. I mean what range are you repping? I think you very rarely show up with a set here and I doubt you are leading A4 here too often either. The only value hands you are likely to be leading is 64 (you probobly are not even leading a naked 64 given the stack sizes) and some combos with a nut flush draw.

I can see us getting called down fairly light in this spot (and hence putting us in a pretty terrible spot on the turn). If you had the lone Ace of Diamonds in your hand I would like it a lot more.

On the other hand, this flop is pretty terrible for the villains ranges, unless as you said, they have Aces or Kings with Diamonds. So I suppose there is some merit to it.

What turns are you leading after getting called by the small blind?

Then earlier you mention how strong big card hands are.

What about a hand like AKQJ badugi? Still a fold from most positions in most games? How about UTG in more passive SS games assuming 100bbs deep?

Yep, I'm really sorry for the tone. Anyway I've watched every single PLo Video on DC and for a fact I don't hate Whitelime, but I've watched both episodes and I've just gave up on renewing my DC subscription. This video is just a filler there ain't a single interesting spot in the whole video, i've seen the other comments too from people who intend to play PLo some day for fun. Delcrosb might be cheering bc he's OS.

The KK25 hand and deciding to lead the 4-handed pot UTG (963r board). You say it's semi-uncoordinated but it smacks a ton of straight draws. Is this standard? I find it hard to believe this is a profitable play.

When you say that opening full pot is the best way in 2/4, are you talking about only deep stack games, or does this hold true across the 50bb and 100bb buyin, and CAP PLO games as well? It doesn't seem like most people in the 50bb and 100bb buyin 2-4PLO games are opening full pot for the most part.

I wouldnt fold that 8765. If you put ranges to propokertools or something you have ok equity in 3way allin also. If the other guy 3bets only aces and utg raises like 15% there you got 1/3 odds. If they are tighter its better. Againts 10% 3bet and 15% openraise you got 32%. If you overcall this the utg doesn´t chip it in unless he has aces. I would say utg raiser more likely to have bigger connected cards and your smallish queue plays well againts those ranges. Moreover, its deepstacked and you got position. So, I wonder what is behind this fold?
