It's videos like this that keep me from finishing WoT's Mathematics series.
I mean I log on and this is the first thing I see. How am I supposed to NOT watch this vid?! ![]()
OMG OMG, Bank Holiday monday saved, I thought we were going to get some silliness like limit hold'em etc...;-)

You flop a set and villain 3bets the flop small, polarizing his range between bluffs and flushes. Don't you think it still might be best to shove the flop since his bluffs could easily have 30% equity vs your set if they contain one 'blue card'? And getting it in vs a flush isn't a disaster either because of the size of the pot and the decent equity you have vs a flush.
And for the record; made this comment before seeing the result.
Re: the set of 22's hand on the monotone flop... What about leading the turn to induce a spazz from worse and to charge draws. By flatting his 3 bet you are repping a very strong hand so I would think that if he has any equity he is gonna check behind on the turn and take the free card.
I think the ace is a real interesting card on the turn as well. I'm not sure who is more likely to have an ace here given both of you lines and will often slow the action and result in more checks by him on the turn, which is why I'd like to consider a lead on the turn.
IDK... I just don't think villain is gonna continue w/ his bluffs and semi bluffs on the turn and I don't want to give a free card. If he has AdXx then the money will go in anyway, if he has a big hand, the money will go in anyway. You are really hoping that he will bluff or semi bluff the turn, but given your line I just don't think that'll happen anyway.
What a nice surprise ![]()
Soooooo glad another krantz video came out. good job. guy was really good (except for that KK misplay, which he auto sat out for, that impresses me in itself).
Must be frustrating that he left while he was still up a couple of buyins just cause he won the flips.
I wouldnt have the patience to play HU cash, but great video and looking forward to your secret project.
best vid ive ever seen, no joke and never made this comment earlier
i always try to find out what exactly i learned from a vid (like concepts, though processes etc), most of the time its nothing or just a little little bit. This time i felt like i really learned something and can think about a lot of stuff, so ty
krantz duel videos are by far the best videos.
great video man
My my Krants youre so freaking awesome I wish i could meet you in the streets of New York I would just give you a hug. So if a weird dude gonna come over and hug you that'd be me.
Can't wait for next season hope there is a lot HU content! BTW is FWF coming back to action evahr?
Very nice to see a video where you struggle a bit with a good, aggro opponent. You can take away so much more from that than watching you run good and ship stacks vs some mediocre/spewy guy, even though those vids are awesome as well.
Looking forward to the next season!

yep, he will be back as soon as he gets back from his SE Asia travels
oh man i absolutely love ur comment at minute 50 on the river

No, I don't think so... the roughly 30% equity he has with XdXo is offset the times he just has two red cards and decides to continue his bluff on later streets.
Not to mention it IS possible to fold a set to certain action, contrary to popular belief!
great video man

Well leading the turn is actually a super strong line too, stronger than checking (although they're both really strong lines - food for thought if you ever want to bluff here, eh?)
Honestly, sometimes there's just not much you can do against certain raise and bet sizing... durrrra made a really great play here, and that's definitely something really important to take away from this video that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with my play.
Is it a holdem manager options the last windows you got with stats krantz and how can i have it?
I love that JT hand on the river where ur like; AND JAM ALL IN. Made me laugh so hard.
with your logic for c/raise bluffing on the Qx river, it is necessarily wrong to not c/r Q4
who is durrra1000?
i actually really liked your check T9, but on another note his float with 95o almost has to be horrible on the turn in particular
lol c/raising AJ is really groovy, recently got owned that in the exact same way ![]()
Excellent. Can you elaborate on the HUD screen on the bottom right?
I just watched and I really can't believe how sick you are. I mean, how does your mind work like that? Was very fun to watch.
Probably one of your best HU videos I have seen.
Really good.

Here you say that you would check raise bluff here so you might as well raise with a set but then villain 3-bets. My question is, do you ever expect him to 3-bet bluff if he thinks you would bluff raise this board? Possibly doing it with a medium diamond as a backup? Then when you call he might be giving up so he checks back the Ah turn. However on the river when you check again he thinks you are afraid of the diamond so he bets as a bluff?

keep watching, i go through all of this. the river is a bad call -- he should be expecting me to have a set or flush and is laying me good pot odds... in hindsight i don't think he will ever be bluffing a) on a diamond river and b) with that bet size
Alright,
Thanks for the response Krantz ![]()
great video man, prob the best around ![]()
