nice work, good vid guys!!!
Very informative and entertaining. As a small stakes full ring player who starts his own tables and really wants to hone my HU game, I've found myself constantly challenged by the mental side. When you made that big bluff that was called with the 6's full, that would have really sent me reeling. This video also shows how volatile HU play can be. One or two cards or one or two key pots can seem to really sway a match.
who rated this 4 stars or less? hope that was a misclick.
gg guys, more to come?
thanks guys
I thought this was a pretty cool video because it's a classic case of lagmonster vs solidmonster. BargeAss used his image extremely well, getting me to fold when he was bluffing and spew when he had a hand
Good video, like the format! I hope to see more videos from you like this because in many many HU matches I am always the "defender" and this is a perfect format to see how you as the aggresor view me; the defender.
Only thing I would like to see is that you would focus more and elaborate more on why you take certain lines.
I was villain in this video. Thanks for the positive feedback guys.
Syous definitely put me in some tough spots in this match and I wish I'd paused a little longer on some decisions. My redline ended up being quite down at the end of the match so it highlights a leak of mine that needs to be plugged.
Shyne our styles must be similar because quite often I end up the passive role in a match. Whether it's better to let them play into that and overcompensate (or exploit your nitty image as I did here as best I could) or fight fire with fire is a debatable topic. Lately I try to make my opponents adjust to me more than vice versa. I think quite often against a tough player you need to just steer the match into your comfort zones and not theirs when it comes to the dynamics.
