in the atc hand, you said hes tilted and looking to build a stack, which i think is the reason he called with 87c.

Hey guys, I watched over this video again (I played the hands about a month and a half ago, and made the commentary almost a month ago), and found some things that I don't agree with. Sorry if this sounds kind of lame, but it's bothering me so I'll go ahead and list my amendments:

The ATo hand where I c/c a Kxx flop, I say he should put me on a strong hand here. That's totally wrong, he should be putting me on a weak hand there, so I'd usually rather c/r that board.

The 57s hand where I raise the turn small, I think that's the worst play here. I think either flatting or raising the turn big are the best, because raising small looks by far the strongest play, whereas raising big can represent any number of combo draws. There's a pretty good chance that when I raise small, xorbie will just fold a weak two pair to my turn raise, and just call me with a combo draw and play 100% fit or fold on the river. If he has a big twopair then he'll probably just shove it in anyway, but if I make a big raise and he has turned top pair or something, he'll just about always get it in over a raise since my range for a big raise includes a lot of pair + sd or pair + fd type hands that are trying to maximize equity against another draw, whereas if I make a small raise he'll fold those hands 100%. Basically, a good handreader here will realize that a small raise from my part only makes sense with a straight - there is no real hand that I'd want to turn into a bluff here, especially since this sized raise can't really bluff him if he has any of the numerous combo draws on this board.

The A6cc hand where board is x7QK7 with the backdoor clubs, I think that the river overbet is suboptimal here. I bet about 2x pot on the river, thinking that he would realize that this was a good spot to overbet as a bluff - this is probably underthinking the hand, and I think that especially since it's been my first overbet and I haven't shown any especial propensity to make bluffs of this nature, that he's just going to c/f Qx on the river just about always, and possibly even c/f a 7. He can't really have a club draw in his hand, so he can never have a flush. If I just bet the river 3/4 pot or so, I have a decent chance of getting called by a Q, and I'm usually getting c/r'd by a 7 which will win me as much if not more than the overbet.

I wish I could've edited this into the video, but I'm afraid that it's impractical at this point, so I hope you can read all these amendments and realize why these plays were mistakes.

The 69o hand on the AA6 board, I would definitely much rather lead with 6x than c/c, it's very hard to see showdown and be good with 6x there if I c/c because of all the hands you have with clubs, with overcards or that can double barrel me off my hand.

Good shove with the K3o btw, I remember feeling really bush league after that hand (I think the call was bad anyway). The ATc vs 78c hand was interesting, at the time I remember thinking that you basically never have a flush there but after seeing you c/c A hi type hands I thought you could easily lead a one spade A hi or overcard hand, a hand like 55, etc. The raise was with the intention of checking back most rivers, making a small raise to buy myself showdown. When you time banked and shoved I figured you had a semibluff almost always because the range of made hands you play this way is really small imo. Was not really looking to felt this hand generally though, and I remember being somewhat taken aback when you shoved (which is bad because I should be expecting a shove here a lot).

Awesome video!!

I really like your thought process and how good you are at explaining it. Top notch and certainly among the best HU videos on the net. I feel like a peasant after watching you play :(

Yeah top vid Dogis, you say the A6cc hand is bad, it is in a vacuum but not when you play the K3o hand the same way a moment later. Anyway hurry up and make that series already.

I think it's fair to say that I've got more out of your small sample of videos than most of the DC library of videos (and I love most of them), perhaps it's the way you explain your thought processes. More please.
