Can't wait to see it, thanks.

Hey everyone! I think this video came out really well so I hope you all enjoy it; please feel free to ask questions and provide criticism as always.
As promised in the vid, the original commentary can be found here: http://search3.idrive.com/driveway/jsp/dway_download.jsp?id=d0h7q4b5h9
Also around 11 min in, I'm not really sure what I was talking about with leading the K turn in the blind battle. I guess c/c lead is an OK bluff line, but I think flop is either a b/f or c/f.
Aaaaaand upon scanning through the video I've noticed it doesn't quite sync up...my voice comes about 10-15 seconds before the action starting around 12-15 min in or so. We'll get to work fixing it for you guys!
You fitted a ton of stuff in here tubasteve, is it going to be a season?
I really like the whole "two tables review of someone's play". Four tables is ok but sometimes I just think that there is almost so much action with four that the action takes over from the commentary. One table might not be a bit hit and miss in that it will either make a great video for commentary or there will be almost nothing to comment on.
I really enjoy this sessions review, keep it up!
I just think you should pause it sometimes so you can explain yourself better, not rushing because thare is another hand running.
This was a great video, good work!
What is the overall game plan when you call with SC? IP? OOP?
You mentioned that if you call with SC oop you should be very apt to check-raise the flop, what kind of boards do you want? Is it better to check-raise A/K dry, T97ss or 953? How big should you make the raise? What is a good frequency, is it better to c/r to often or to seldom?
In position I guess the plan is to make money by good implied odds so you want opponent's with tight opening ranges to call with SC? Then I guess you want some kind of hand to continue on the flop, do you rather call/float or raise if you hit a FD/TP/MP/GS on the flop? [Or are you looking for even bigger flops?]
I just think you should pause it sometimes so you can explain yourself better, not rushing because thare is another hand running.
i tried. when the better-synced version is posted this will be more apparent and will be in better spots.

Better synced version is posted, btw.
my avatar isnt brian may, its acutally an old picture of Sylvester Stallone.
Really want to thank you and Deucescracked for getting this done. I think this is an amazing way to create a video. Tubasteve did an excellent job and I will nitpick this video for many days.
I agree with the JT hand, it jsut felt so dirty and weak playing it oop and check/calling trying to hit a hand.
Very interesting to get a different perspective throughout the whole video.
Thanks again,
Billy Snider aka sniderstyle

Wow Sylvester Stalone was such a sexy stud!
Great video! Lots of usefull information and didn´t even finish it yet. Awesome!
I watched the original with sniders comments which were interesting too (atleast for this microgrinder looking up a couple levels). Maybe you two should do a review session live, some point counter point with Tubasteve would be a plus.
Some things I don't like in this video. Most importantly you seem to miss the action quite often! This is somewhat frustrating because then you base your analysis on wrong facts. Also it should be possible to 2 table without overlap. Apart from that an ok video!

Thanks for this comment, I realize that the hands overlap a bit and I missed some action, but I have rewatched the video and it wouldn't have affected any serious decisions we made in the video IIRC. This was my first session review vid and I think I know how to make the next one a lot better. ![]()

That's why I made the comment, looking forward to the next vid!
slimbo: can you point out some of the spots where misreading the action may have changed my thoughts on a hand? if so i'll be happy to address it.
DC should do a poll of members to figure out what stakes we actually play. I think a lot of people are more interested in seeing 50NL-200NL than seeing a 20th 5/10 or 10/20 video. I mean how many member here actually play those stakes?
I strongly suggest not doing videos where the tables overlap. Very difficult to watch with all the flipping back and forth. It really hurts the continuity.
12:00 right table:
I would rather bet the TT ip for free showdown - if we check and he donks the river, do we call any bet?

Yea, its obviously not our SOP, this was originally a member video posted in our forum that I thought would make a good DC video.

Don't worry, your job's your credit! What more do you need? (lol eastern motors commercials)
Seriously though, I should have more content comin out pretty soon so stay tuned!

This is a big reason why we don't bet the flop. Then we have to check turn and have a difficult river decision if he bets; by checking the flop we exercise pot control and let him bluff, plus we get more information based on his turn action.
When IP, you can generally slow down a lot more with marginal hands without the risk of getting outplayed as badly as when OOP.
It's also worth noting that jpsnow is a decent reg, so against that type of player you won't get much action from worse hands on Kxx when he is OOP. He'll probably call one street with his pairs, so you can get a flop bet out of them, but unless he's really good, your flop check may induce bluffs on later streets, making a check overall our best option to get value. I say unless he's really good because a really solid reg will often realize your range is somewhat polarized to stuff with showdown value such as a midpair or complete air.
