Ah, sorry, could someone please correct the ...Stars.... I missclicked, sorry !
EDIT: Trying to correct it myself, clicked on 5 Stars, then on 3 Stars to see if it counts. Now it looks like I gave 5..... but it says I gave 3.....wahtever, sorry.
EDIT2: So it is 5 Stars now here, but in the overview I still can see 3 stars only, and Im the only one who has voted so far. Thats strange, I hope I did not damage it.
EDIT3: Damn, I wish I could delete all the Stars, I didn`t even want to vote for it. I will click on 4 again now, so noone has to be unhappy.
EDIT4: So that worked, but I wonder if I could make everything undone if I click on 2 now, because I clicked everything one time then (by accident obv), but I fear this will just count as a final and single 2... I will not try it.

What about making it 12 to still isolate the fish and have a better stack/pot ratio?
Every video should have Krantz commentary. Legend.

I'd do it on the button, you could even make it like 10 or something. or even limp behind some if the blinds weren't berzerk. I don't like it in the cutoff though.

On table 2, what do you expect him to fold when you cbet a Q85dd flop? Is it too nitty to just check back and give up? How does having 77 influence your decision to cbet?
Great video btw
Quick, stupid question: What does the CO stat in your hud stand for?

He's got a pretty wide range overall so I think it's alright as a standard cbet. We do have blockers to 67 which makes it pretty cool. He may fold the flop, he may peel with worse and then check it down. He may checkraise our skull into the pavement! lol. I don't think checking it down and not cbetting is bad, I don't mind that either, but I prefer to bet, especially if I don't have specific history w/the dude.

Call Open. It's always been one of my favorite stats ![]()

On table 2, the AJo hand. What was your plan on the flop? My standard play would have been just to cbet and get it in. But looking at it now, I realize that he probably doesn't fold very often and we just get it in behind.

I was just going to check and maybe call a reasonable/small bet, probably fold to a pot sized+ bet. The problem with cbetting and getting it in is that you're usually getting it in crushed. The problem with cbetting in general is that you rarely have fold equity on this board and we're OOP on later streets, his stack is short etc.
If your standard would be to bet and get it in, ask yourself why? Try monkeying around with poker stove some to get a better feel for your equity in these situations. Like Krantz has said in the past you can plug in your hand, the board, and ranges of ranges that different players may have etc.
Hm, u had this "T" in your hud which showed how many tables someone was playing. Did this come with a new HM update and how does it realize how many tables someone is playing?

I randomly found it while donking around with my hud a week or so ago. I think you have to have their table scanner to use it. When you scan it's able to tell from scouring the lobby etc. It's pretty damn sweet because checking out how many tables a dude is on is something I frequently do.
Hm, interesting.
thanks
You seem to use unpolarized 3-bet range IP and you hardly ever call with hands that have much value but wont stand villains shove.(KSq/KJs/89s/QJ etc. type of hands)
For example, you 3-bet MP open from BTN/CO with KQs. If he 4-bets you cant shove (unless you turn it to bluff). Most regulars never call 3-bets OOP. If the opponent is calling alot OOP its different obv. Wouldnt calling be better option sometimes?
(this example isnt exact but i hope you get the point)
Im saying this because this part made me confused, and i started to think that am i calling too much? OOP im 3-betting unpolarized, more for value, because villains are calling wider, but IP i usually polarize my range.

My 3b range is dynamic, never static.
I guess this is going to be a general answer, but everything kinda revolves around gameflow and you can always adjust when you learn more about their ranges. As Krantz has said before (in regards to KQs type stuff), they're going to be calling some % of the time, usually with worse, and when they do = profit.
I would prefer calling specifically when there's a fish in the blinds. If the blinds are regs and will squeeze frequently, I'm less likely to flat call and more likely to 3b. It's all table dynamics. If a guy 4b's through the roof, I'm obv going to adjust and 3b less, and 3b/5b more when I do 3b.
My overall strategy involves applying lots of pressure to my opponents and putting them in unhappy spots, and my 3b range reflects this.
In a nutshell = position is king. have a general strategy, and know when variables point you towards an adjustment.
Thanks for explaining, i have to try out and see what happens.
It just feels that they are always 4-betting or folding.
And good job, best/the most entertaining series for a while.

do you preflop raise less if they have say a 15-18% call open?

certainly could. it would depend on how weak or annoying they are postflop.

Hey I totally understand your reasoning against a typical TAG or even LAG, but that guy was 62/28 in a blind war. It seems like his 3-bet calling range is pretty wide there. I do see your reasoning though, I dont think he'll fold hands like J9, KT, QJ which are part of a wide range. Would this be a correct line of reasoning?

I'm not sure what you're asking exactly.
