I did the Stove Calc as recommended and Deathdonkey's obviously got Stove implanted in his brain or something...shouldn't have corrected yourself though

Ya i got very lucky. I let it be pretty well known that I thought I played terrible in this game when we played and talked about it on AIM after.
In my defense this game was played at about 5am my time and I had been up all night
I want to thank Chris for making this amazing commentary, and thanks the players and Mike for getting it together.
Great video!

Hey DeathDonkey, thanks again for doing the commentary. And I really personally appreciate you pointing out a fairly large error I'm making in balancing my post flop BB defense range. I'm trying to address that and your comments and explanation are definitely very helpful to that end.
Thanks also to all the players - it was a lot of fun and I hope we have an opportunity for something similar in the future.

Awesome commentaries obviously.
I have a question: at 40:00 I have 77 vs Qhamus, should I bet the river? And if I bet and he raise.....
Edit:
57:00 PH why do you donk the turn? (afraid of AA?)
65:00 WTF me folding the turn????????
Lastly, I think most of you guys play better than me when I was playing 2/4(25/18 super SD monkey). So keep grinding.....

I don't think so. I don't think there's enough 5x/4x/3x that fights through the ace on the turn and also decides to call a river bet.

Wow, I didn't know you were that strong there. You had been opening so light OTB that I had almost 3-bet you a round or two ago when I had I think it was K7o.

PY, in the hand where you had KK in the BB and Jay had QQ UTG. What do you think about check raising the turn after Jay capped pre flop and then capped the flop?
I think that would have been better. I know iplaylimit asked about this too and when jay capped the flop I was not yet afraid of aces. I was actually hoping to b/3-bet the turn and I think I overestimated the chances that jay would continue to raise me with a worse hand. But yes, c/r and call down a 3-bet looks good here.

Really really great review by DD, many thanks!
You were totally right about me not really having a plan for the hand at 50:00, my play was for value, but I didnt know exactely against which hands..
The other hands were analysed expertly too, much respect

It looks like you missed the fact that you picked up a flush draw on the turn. I think players do this type of thing quite often but don't realise it. When I go over hands in poker tracker I will sometimes see that I folded on streets because I missed the fact that I picked up extra outs. I often have a gut shot on the flop and peel, then pick up a double gut shot on the turn, but miss it and end up folding.
I once saw a video that Stoxtrader made, he hit a straight on the river (I think it was the nuts) and folded, because he did not notice it. So if he misses things like that how many things do the rest of us miss.
PY in this hand, iplaylimit opened on the BTN with Jh Jc you three bet from the SB with Qc 8s and iplaylimit capped.
The flop is Kc Qh 8h and you donk into iplaylimit. I assume you were hoping to bet three bet with your two pair correct?
The thing is, when you donk into the pre flop capper, iplaylimit should be a little worried, I don't think he is going to raise unless he has top pair or better. I think I would have check raised this flop, but perhaps donking is better. Can you explain why you decided to donk out.

Either that or just call the flop raise and c/r the turn.

Yeah, I'm not sure it's better. I'm not sure exactly what iplaylimit's capping range here is, but let's say it's ~99+, ~AJ+, maybe KQs (I'm not sure how much it matters if it goes lower since the next few hands that are added would be in the same categories as below: 88 unlikely, 77, AT, may not put in a ton of action, I don't mind if KJ raises, etc.).
So against that range I can get action from some worse hands (AK and AA), while others (JJ-99, AQ-AT or whatever) probably won't put in a ton of action no matter what I do. (And then there's the unlikely QQ, KQs, and to a lesser extent KK) So overall my thinking was just to make sure a bet went in, see how he reacts, and go from there.
