Thanks a lot.

I have trying to figure out how to have text on the stats for ages: like "PFR: 17" instead of just "17".

I actually have a paper in front of my were i have written what my stats are; no use for that now.

A thing i want to ask you about is the "aggression be street".

I don't now whats best: "Aggression factor" or "aggression frequency" i use aggr. factor.

"Messiah" at DC advocates having "Bet river %" on your HUD. I have have added that: but sometimes that is pretty low, even though the aggression factor on river is extremly high.

Can you talk a little bit about the corrolation between, factor/frequency/bet% by street.

Thanks for a great video.

Hey Guys,

Something I wanted to mention real quick is that you don't have to lay out each seat's stats individually. I didn't show it in the video, but there is an option to clone a seat, and you can just use that to duplicate your layout saving you at least 5/6 of the time you probably thought you were gonna be spending on your layout!

spliff: I use aggression by street %'s which are the numbers along the right side of my HUD at the top. AF is a representation of hte ratio of your bets and raises to calls, while the percentage shows you what percentage of a players TOTAL actions are bets or raises. This includes checks and folds, where AF does not I believe. Someone please correct me if I am wrong about this part.

I think the %s are better for me because that is what all of my other stats are. I don't really look at the AF by street while I play, but sometimes I use it for pokertracker analysis and stuff. The thing about AF is that depending on your pre and postflop style, you can be a winner with all sorts of AF flop/turn/river combos. I like the frequencies because they are an absolute number that mean something to me. Use whatever works for you though!

Oh and to answer your question about the high river AF but low bet %, that just means that they are usually betting or raising if they are playing their hand, and rarely calling river bets. So if you think about the meaning of the two numbers, a small percentage of their actions are bets/raises, but since the AF is high, they are betting/raising way more than calling. This means they are usually checking or folding, followed by betting or raising, and then last (and least often) they are calling on the river.

Hope that answers your questions. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for making this, picked up a few good tricks like the seat duplicate and ~/label combo.

I just make a quick 6max layout very similar to the one you have and had a few questions.
1) What font & font size you used for the smaller labeled stats, its really compact and makes it easier to fit position 3 and 4 stats at the bottom of the screen.
2) Which stats do you use just 1 decimal place or none for?
3) Do you use color ranges for anything other than VPIP/PFR?

1)i use a combo of lucida console and verdana, but i forget which is which. lucida for the small stats and verdana for vpip/pfr/af i believe.

2) i use one for anything that is generally in single digits, like cold call% or c/r flop %, and also for vpip/pfr/af. i dont use it for anything else as they are percentages in the double digits, and i dont really need the extra precision.

3) i use color ranges for everything. Smile

Thanks for the video Steve. I didn't really understand what function the Database Cache serves and why a person would opt to use it / not use it. I noticed you do NOT use it. Could you please just talk about it a little bit more and why you opt to not use it?

Thanks.

If you have posgresSQL for a database, don't check the "filter last # of hands" option like he shows in the video. It will mess your PAHUD all up. I am just getting mine sorted out w/PAHUD support. Other than that, it was a good video. Just trying to save you all from a headache. JROK777

I have used postgreSQL for years and not had any problems with my current settings. Weird.

I simply don't need to; my computer is fast enough without it, and it takes additional hard drive space which is unnecessary.
