Hey guys,
A few things. 1: The Sage skin I use here is available from http://static.deucescracked.com/resources/sage.css. Right click on it and click "save as" and save it to a directory, then point Sage to it in the custom CSS sheet area that I show in the video.
2: Let me know if you like this sort of video. I do a lot of the work with our development team and help to bring the ideas you want to see to fruition, and in doing a lot of that work I learn a lot of tips and tricks and just generally have things that I know how to do on the site that might be not as obvious to users who aren't as geeky as me. These vids will always be free, available to all members, and I'll do some more if there's any demand, especially as we start to publish some of the things that we've started developing in the backend.

Thanks Entity. I never used RSS feeds, mostly because I didn't know what they were. I'm interested in more tools that make for a more efficient study/analysis/post reading/... session.
If you have any tips for a windows mobile user, that would be great. The forums are not usable in WM at this time.

Rob, I have tried in the past to set up RSS feeds and just gave up. Not anymore! 5 star video.
One question, if you start adding a lot of feeds do you need to go in and do clean ups much? I look forward to more videos like this on how to use technology to work with DC or playing poker with tools available. I would also love to see other technology you might use for other cool stuff maybe not always related to DC, example- I saw some kid do a series on youtube that goes into details about optimizing your usage of Google that I really enjoyed.
Happy Easter and hope you are well.

This is cool, I installed News Gator on my BB and can get the feeds sync'd up to it, so I can read the forums away from home. Does anyone know if 2+2 has any RSS feeds set up? I haven't looked very hard, but it looks like the answer is no, just wondering.

FWIW, while I use Sage a lot for DeucesCracked I use Google Reader for most of my blog aggregation and will probably move some of the forums over to that as well. I really like their reader for letting me catch up on my morning posts (it's kind of like my equivalent of reading the NY Times in the morning, I guess). You can actually share your feeds with other people too, which is kind of cool -- see what blogs your friends are reading, etc. I'll see if there's a way I can show a little bit more of what I do specifically with Google Reader (and what feeds I read) in the future.

Entity, is there a link for an RSS feed of just the Videos (not the forum posts associated with videos, but just video titles)? I want to add something like that so on my home page I'll immediately know when a DC vid is posted.

There isn't yet, but it's on the list of our site improvements. I'll make a post about it when we add it and other features.

Entity, do you know if there are any mobile RSS software packages out there that allow you to reply to threads while offline, and have them posted once you get back online? I use Newsgator Go for my PDA, and don't have the ability to post right now unless I'm at home.

Is there a way to get the rss feed for just videos yet?
It should be in our next software update (next week I think). I've tested it on our beta testing site and it was working and made me happy happy.

This would be cool if you get a chance.
Just set up a Goggle reader thingy, should greatly increase my productivity imo.
