One of the best video's I've seen. I really liked the battles with Tepo and the light 3-betting and 4-betting. Very helpful to see you deal with those situations.

Hey Mr. DJ

At the 5:30 minute mark on the right table you raise it up with AsJh and get called out of the BB by a 30BB stack and the flop comes KdTd3c and you bet $110 into $147 when it is checked to you.

I'm curious about this line, you said it was a standard bet but the stacks seem awkward and I would expect to be CRAI'd by a lot of a shortstacks range here. Can you explain your thoughts on this situation?

If he does shove you will be looking at calling $430 to win $800 while against any king you are a 3:1 dog...

Well, obviously I don't like getting checkraised here, but I think that I prefer to bet out and perhaps have to fold to the occasional raise than to check behind and likely have to give up the pot entirely when he bets the turn.

Yeah I guess my question kina sucked... I tend to want to take the free card there since I imagine the shortstack is going to push on that board so often but also on the theory that I want to balance my cbets between value bets which can stand a raise and hands with very little equity. This hand seems somewhere in between to me. The ace high might be best on its own plus we have outs that might hit his hand and give us a monster. I don't know, I tend to check behind a lot with a good overcard and a gutshot. Is this a leak?

depends on your opponents. If they're the type to just check down most of the time and let you showdown, then sure, do that sometimes. But if they're aggressive and pounce on any sign of weakness, then you probably shouldn't give them that chance with a hand that can't stand too much heat. Take the pot down now when its your best shot at it.
