Nice video man!

Gives me some new thoughts about crushing NL50. I'm going to move up pretty soon so this should help.

You're English was pretty good and definitely understandable. I know this because I'm German myself and spent a whole year in USA. Where do you live in Germany if I might ask? If you don't want to answer this here, just send me a PM or something Wink

Great video, your english was perfectly understandable.

Thought you made a great point about people not thinking the same way as you, i think thats something i need to think about while playing and should help a lot with handreading.

Excellent debut video, dude. I've been struggling lately at 50NL and my confidence is really low so i'd certainly appreciate more 50NL vids Smile

And your English was totally fine, no problems.

Possibly being results oriented here, but I think we should just pot bet bet this board (33 on QJ3. He could check behind with quite a few things like flush draws, hands which have some equity but could raise or call our bet like AK/AT. He could also call with underpairs like TT-44 or Jx.

I agree with this reasoning, the fact he is short-stacked and passive should also make us want to lead this flop.

Any thoughts Ambtndplyr?

Liked it, easy to understand, you speak more clearly than I do. Tons of interesting information/topics... excellent first vid, or any vid for that matter. Looking forward to future videos, keep 'em coming!

What's your reasoning in checking behind the turn? We have a ton of equity with our pair + OESD + FD. If you don't take it down immediatly we'll build a nice pot and possibly stack villain on the river.

this is an awful card to bet as it really improves his flop calling range, plus our FD isn't really worth much since it is T high.

Very nice video, I have a similar style, except for some things and I'd like your thoughts about it:

- I'm not even tempted to raise the limpers from the BB with 42o or 82o (you didn't raise with 82o, but it seemed you were thinking about it), but I would always isolate a limper with Q3s on the button and you didn't. Some other spots like that appeared in the video and I would like to know why you prefer opening any2 in BB versus a limp + caller instead of opening Q3s, Kx type of hands against one limper in position?

- The other hand I play differently is when you raise the 66 in CO against the MP opener. I would just call and hope some others call behind. But I also liked your raise and I'm going to experiment with that. What are your thoughts about this? Would you 3b any PP against any player that opens in MP or in what circumstances do you think 3b a PP (low, medium, high) >> calling a PP?

Looking forward to some answers and your next vid!

I hate to come into other coaches threads and make comments that aren't addressed to me, but I don't think 3-betting small pocket pairs IP is nearly ever a good idea. If you are worried about implied odds vs. a wide-ish range, don't be. You can outplay people postflop with position, easily making up for the times that you miss the set.

Plus hitting sets is fucking awesome.

When on the button with small pocket pairs i generally call when MP open raises but 3bet if the CO open raises as i dont feel i have the implied odds for set mining.

Would you agree with any of that?

Youre not setmining. Think about it...when his range isnt strong enough to setmine,u should be able to make all sorts of stuff in position postflop to get him off his hand, ducy ?

Nice vid. Sometimes it was hard to understand because you were mumbling a little bit.

I think he decided to 3bet the PP IP because the villain was a little over a half stack.

maybe make the raise w A5s a bit larger on the flop?
-we still keep FD's in his range
-a bit more FE
-were probaly bet/calling shove so we give ourselves better odds to call shove.
