Ghost: Crablar (#2) - Nutbar by Crablar

Crablar steps up to the plate and plays a ridiculous amount of hands in order to work on post-flop play and hand reading.

Awesome video, great way to improve hand reading I guess, so I just might drop down a couple levels and give this a try.

Thanks!

Although I like the idea of the video, I just can't stand watching that laggy sh*t, hurts the eyes waaay too much. Micro nolimit grinder has the same (but not as severe as this) problem. I guess it's to keep the download size as small as possible but I'd rather have a bigger file and a more watchable video. The newest Spaceman video (ep 6) is a good example of a nice refresh rate.

This isn't something in the production of the video (we produce all videos using the same production settings), rather it's something in the recording of the video. We produce all of our videos at 100% of their recorded framerate and resolution to keep quality as high as possible.

Unfortunately, Camtasia records at the maximum framerate the host computer will allow, so in this case it may have recorded at a lower rate because of Crablar's computer. 4-tabling + recording is pretty intense on a lot of computer setups which was the case here.

Ah I see, not much to do about it then I guess. Thanks for the info!

Loved the discussion in the video as well, but the one frame per second quality was really annoying. It doesn't have to be like a real-time 30 FPS like TV or anything but I hate it when it feels choppy like that. Otherwise good video Smile

Could have been a great video, had crablars computer not been such a beat. Still a pretty good video.

hai there,
JJ hand where you 4bet, guy rebought to 200 BB after he folded.
he wasn't deep before so your play was all fine Wink
QQ hand, I found that your 4bet was kinda huge, is that b/c you were deep, and guy might start calling smaller 4bets and move around post?
Also I'm not sure what I should think of QQ UTG against UTG+1 3bet = instabroke, JJ on BU against SB reraise from the same guy going broke = bad.. I mean you thought you were 150+ BB deep effective in both.

Is your decision affected there by the QQ hand, like he probly isnt moving in with crap cause youve shown to take a stand in a well, not really marginal, but close spot and you also have momentum?

Another point which you brought up and I struggle with, once you mentioned a spot where you didn't checkraise a board because you can't rep much - isn't that a good board to checkraise because there's less draws in your c/r range and thus onepair hands should be calling less?
I'm probly leveling myself with this I feel.
Thoughts to help my out?

also, dood, you play higher stakes, buy a new pc or some antivirus or whatever!
pretty cool vid anyway, learned a lot postflop I think.
Greetings sence25 from 2+2

If video quality is going to be subject to computer studliness then methinks DC should spring for studly computers for all coaches and video makers.

I'll work with Jeff before he records another to either touch up the speed of this one or have him just record 1 or 2 tables which seems to be much easier for Camtasia to process. If you guys liked the content/style/idea of nutbar I can talk to him and see if we can make a better one (still keeping this one but obviously with the caveat that it's a bit choppy). Smile

Yea I loved the video idea and his style, but unfortunately after about 15-20 minutes I couldn't take it anymore and had to shut it off lol.

Apart from the technical issues this was pretty interesting. A better video would be a great idea.
