SSankarAA's comment is completely unecessary and inappropriate, and demonstrates his immaturity amd why he'll likely never be a winning a player.

Hey all,

This is Orange's 1st video so all constructive criticism is welcome. Dave is looking to improve his delivery and video making.

Thanks,
JT

I've only made it about halfway through the video, but this quote is just retarted... for one of his first videos I think this is pretty damn solid.

There was nothing wrong with his delivery and video making IMO. It's SSankarAA's delivery that needs improving.

hey orange,

w/ AQdd hand when you face a squeeze, how do you feel about a shove. Both were about 75 bb.

Hey,

Yeah, I could have shoved. I think it's a close spot and definitely one that can go either way. You probably aren't going to lose much EV wise if you do either, especially with the dead money in.

All,

I felt I played suboptimally in some of these spots, perhaps the A2 hand is misplayed. Nonetheless I am happy for any comments presented. (and SSankarAA, you are right, I haven't played these SSNL games in a while...I've been dabbling in PLO the last few months).

Nice video orange.

First comment was unnecessary - and totally incorrect - but I guess now you have a whole lot of people mentioning how wrong the comment was. I would assume it is by a player who orange has owned a ton in the past and is trying to get back at him.

Anyway, the video was great. Particularly the fact that you are able to explain your thoughts so clearly - and even in real time while actually playing to boot. Well done.

the 3bet with j7hh. I didn't like the size seems like the vast majority of the time he continues your just completely crushed. It wouldn't surprise me at all that 3betting to that size is +EV in a vacuum (for a little while at least) but it seems like 3betting the flop smaller gives you a lot more options on later streets+increases the chance your draws is good, he peels you light, etc etc.

Also I wouldn't have sat to the right of le ti ga but meh I guess it was only for a few hands.

welcome on board, sir. nice vid, IMO, really informative. So my input is a marginal one: if you jump between tables and history too much, I get kind of seasick:-)

Nice vid Orange. I think the J8s hand around 20 min in was played great for the reasons you stated about his hand range. vn.

enjoying the video so far, only problem is your hand history window isn't in view most of the time in the video and we can't see what people had when you are discussing hands a few times. Not a biggie, just a thought.

Really liked the video a lot, great to see you at DC!
I liked the fact that you paid particular attention to the likely actions of your opponents, like there were a couple spots where you felt you were going to get raised on the flop, and did...this is something that needs more improvement in my own game.

regarding the J7h hand at at 9:30, I like the way you played the hand but am wondering if you think a smaller 4 bet has merit, say $87/89 if you are planning to fold?

The A2 hand was played well in the fact that you knew you couldn't raise at this limit once he overbet. You did put yourself in the best situation but unfortunately your opponent hit his/her outs. I think the decision making was fine throughout.

The commentary is good. I really appreciate the thoughts on the other players as well as your thoughts on the streets to come.

one thought: I don't think I can call the river on the A2 hand. My hand is not strong enough to call a pot sized bet from that player based on the reads you stated. I know you were close on the decision too, do you think it would be incorrect to fold here in this spot?

Eh, I think that folding might be a bit weak. Though as you saw in the video (and in retrospect), it's probably a fold I'd like to make/want to make but probably incapable of doing so.

Hey Orange
At 29:23 you 3 bet AKo out of position against a decent LAG while laying fairly deep. If he 4 bets here, what do you do? Call? Fold?

If you call can you to about so e flops where you miss?
