After watching this I feel somewhat inspired to give myself the kick up the arse I should've done before watching, so thanks and looking forward to the next one.

Is there any chance you can do an episode on basic database leakfinding?

Excellent video Aaron. A lot of good stuff in there and I'm eagerly looking forward to the rest of this series. I think that it's time Haj School got an update.

Hello Aeron,

I became a member of DC last month. So far I've watched bits and pieces and the complete 'The eightfold path to poker enlightenment'. I'm currently watching your 'Mathematics of NL Hold'em'.

I watched the first two episodes of 'The Haj School'...

My question is: Should I continue watching 'The Haj School' or would you advise me to just pick up this new series instead?

There is going to be some overlap, but I think Haj episodes 4 and 8 are worth a watch, and maybe 7 too if you're looking for a coach...but ya there will even be some overlap there. You can skip around a bit if you feel it's too redundant.

I think Josh (sthief) has done some of this? I'll keep it in the back of my mind and talk to some of the guys about it.

I think this was a solid introduction to the site.
After already watching a few videos before this one, I noticed certain terms and abbreviations used that I don't recognise. Is there a video explaining things like these?

I think it would be helpful if there was something that covered all the terminology used in poker and all the common abbreviations used in note taking. I find that reading certain user responses to videos off putting because I have to decipher their terminology. Not there fault of course, I have just developed my own form of note taking over the last ten years so I'm wondering if there is a certain way it is done on this site.

Thanks again for this intro.

What are some of the terms that you're unfamiliar with?
Here's a list of acronyms, but if it's not on there or what's on there isn't well defined, feel free to post or PM me for help.

I started getting serious about poker just before Black Friday hit. then i just played live till now, and i have been floundering around a bit on DC. I really appreciate the series Wilt. This will defiantly give me better direction.

What sights would you suggest for US players? I currently only play on bovada, And i just started using a HUD for the first time.

Any US sites have an added risk and we should always keep that in mind. I think the small stakes games are good on all of the sites. Bovada is probably the best though, especially as football season rolls around, the games always get really good.

Hello Aaron,

I just signed up for DuecesCracked earlier today, and this is the first video I watched. I just recently started playing micro-stakes 6max NLHE, and was looking for a good series to get me going. So I just wanted to take a second and introduce myself and to let you know I really enjoyed the first video. I cant wait to watch some more videos from you and dive into the forums. Good luck at the tables.
