Do you think that his c/r size might have been affected by the board texture? The top pair c/r was small on a fairly dry board (K35 rainbow), but when he check/potted the top two...it was a much more draw heavy board (T72 w/ 2 spades).
This is called ep4. Is there going to be episode 3 later?
Love the hu vids so far.

This is brilliant advice, and I am happy to see you remind me of the mantra, "Get to showdown!"

If you had his hand are you betting this river OOP?
Ive always thought it was really +EV to bluff the 4th flush card. I understand he is calling with any diamond so betting A high does nothing but fold out weaker hands (maybe this guy folds 2x or 5x hands). But what would you be betting on this river after flop and turn checked through? Or are we almost always giving up here?

I agree that a call is better on the flop since: (1) you are otb, (2) his c/r is bigger which is indicative of strength; and (3) very dry board.
This villain is peeling the big raise on the flop very lite (K8) & gins the turn. One thing you left out of your discussion is how to adjust to villains like this.
My adjustments would be: (1) 3b/raise TPGK or c/r TPGK on flop for value because given his range for peeling flop; (2) change my 3betting range to include some big hands so I can c/r the flop for value; (3) increase the size of my 3bets for value preflop since he is folding so rarely.
Can you think of anything else? This villain is a weird hybrid calling station (in places) but not a showdown monkey. tx. s/s.

when you bet 600 on the river are you ever folding to a raise. Because you are betting for value, does he ever jam as a bluff.

The stats shown here is that hold em manager or poker tracker 3? I am getting ready to buy one which one would you recommend?

You said you would fold to a raise here. Don't you think it's possible he would raise a strong queen like aq? or do you only expect to see a raise from a strait?

Come to think of it with you having aces it is very unlikely he has aq so never mind. I think your right.

Holdem manager, I'd recommend that. They have a new beta coming out fwiw

it was a limped pot pre, so that makes it a little weird. I dont really expect him to raise the turn with 1 pair there, and a hand like AQ i'd take out of his range given the preflop limp
What do you do here if you bet the turn and get raised?
fold it
