FYI - You can customise your bet slider on Microgaming. You can customise it for both pre & post flop and select your tabs whether it be 2xmin, 3xmin, 1/4pot, 2/3pot, pot e.t.c.

Menu --> Options --> Bet Slider, then select Texas Hold'em/Omaha tab.

I think the MiniMax mod for Ipoker is unavailable right now for new users (and will be for a few more months at least). I recently signed up for Ipoker, but I cannot get the mod and with the actual software it's barely playable Frown

There are ways of getting it to work for all 4 tables. Still, I would not recommend playing there for anything other than entertainment.

I'll start off saying my general buy-in is $25-$50 (dependant on currency).

When I started off playing on-line I played at pokerstars and got screwed at both the SNG and cash games, this was before I'd even heard of PT or people playing 15 tables. I then moved to PKR cos it looked pretty.

I totally agree with the comment about pkr, you can theoretically play on other sites at the same time but the stupid looking at hole cards by pressing a button makes multi-tabling a pain. I also find the players incredibly tilting and rude which you don't find on the US sites (as much). However if you don't mind abuse, playing on a single table and like looking at nice plants playing bad players give it a go.

On ipoker I got a good rakeback deal on when I started playing PLO, there are some absolute maniacs on the site but the variance is horrendous. Betfair's PLO is very low traffic and seems very loose passive at micros.

Looking at this from a non-NLHE stand point I'm now pretty much playing PLO8 cash and NLHE only in tourneys. In that instance I think that the US beats the Euro sites hands down. Most of the +/-'s are eliminated in tourneys and the traffic is a huge bonus in non-NHLE.

P.S. This saga is probably over a 2 year period.

Just lost/resigned my job so gotta play poker for a living. Moved up to 100NL and shocked that I've paid 1.5K rake over 16K hands. Play on Ongame but need rakeback so thinking of DC rakeback deal with Betfair. Also thinking about Stars but not sure how bonus system would compare. Any advice on this?

i belief that normal is +/-6 bb/100 rake that you pay(maybe you had a lot of big pots), only i know that 400 nl you pay on stars 2.4 bb/100

normally , when you get more rakeback you also pay more rake!

While MMM is unavailable right now, developer of program called Ibolide promised to release update this month. This update is working w new resizeble tables. With it U can mod tables, no hotkeys though...

Eagerly waiting, cause software is horrible rite now.

I think a point the series, and this episode in particular, throws up is that there is no one best site. Use the information this series has given you to make an informed decision. I do have my personal preferences, but they are based around game-selecting at midstakes. If my primary game was NL100 those preferences would probably be slightly different. Find a rb/bonus deal that you are happy with, find software you are happy with, and then game-select across all sites that fit those criteria.

like i said i'm sticking at non-NHLE cash for now. my experience with betfair is very up and down but it was mostly PLO

positives -

small player base so its easy to get history without buying HH or datamining
lots of players trying to spin it up i.e. maniacs
nearly all 6 max
small player base good game selection if some players online

negatives -

small player base if you run into a good player you can be easily outmatched
small player base lack of game selection
there are loads of bumhunters HU Nik0sThePro who is reputable Andrew Feldman (search his name on 2+2 for more info) will sit there for hours at high stakes, Isildur alledgly build his bankroll up there, Ben Grundy definitely did
lots of players trying to spin it up i.e. maniacs = lots of variance
nearly all 6 max

Personally i found it tilting but maybe back then i was trying to play 'proper' poker. all the +'s are -'s dependant on style.

i like the software of the big sites, some of the euro sites are really cliquey, trash talky which again can be a + or a -

if your trying to play for a living maybe it would be better to move to either PS or FTP, move down a level, play more tables and grind.

you can take my advice with a pinch of salt cos you play much higher than me good luck with new career path i hope it works out

Hi

I play at Ultimate Bet. You are very negative about the Cereus network due to the scandals but you are overlooking the good points.

On UB you get 30% rakeback AND a constant deposit bonus, these reload bonusses run most of the time and all you have to do is withdraw some money put it back in your account and you have a bonus (this is allowed) AND you get playerpoints that you can spend in a shop or exchange for cash
This is the best deal I have ever come across.
The software plays like a dream and customer support is great.
This only disadvantage that I can think of is that from 50NL on up there is absolutely no action except on jackpot tables. These are not worth playing since the jackpot would eat your winrate.
I really love UB. However if I move to 50NL(I now play 25NL) I will have to look for another site. Not looking forward to that at all...

On microgaming:
I tried Ladbrokes a couple of times. The games look juicey if you look at the player per flop percentages. But when I sit down I have Poker Tracker tables averages in my HUD and... the percentages never match!! The lobby for instance says: 44% and it turns out to really be 18%. So I don't play there.

Very strange because normally the site update every 15 min i think.
Landbrokes look likes very soft games.......

Great you are thinking that Ceures is ok, for multitabeling there is ok, RB also, playerpool ok, but i am afraid now what was happened 2 weeks ok, but i think also it looks safe now you can do pincode on your personal acount maybe ub are learning who knows.
Also Cereus lot of reload bonus and rakeraces , but problems in the past pufff dificult

HERE ON DEUCES lot op people negative about Cereus but another forums lesser.... .....???????

But i still loves plays on party, when you plays a lot until 40% cashback
I poker i likes also....

Betfair and Entraction goood for the rakeback but to small players pool

ok have good day bye
