Ever wonder why you can't break into that higher limit you're always taking shots at? FoxwoodsFiend moves up through different stakes of No-Limit, starting off at .5/1 and playing gradually higher stakes. He illustrates the different types of gameplay at each limit while explaining the adjustments players from one level to the next must make in order to be successful in their ascent. FWF talks about the different types of fish and regulars at the varied stakes, plays he would make at one level but not at the next, and touches on which playing styles are more suitable for which stakes. DeucesCracked is going to show you how to make the leap.

FWF, I could listen you to your voice all day. It's more soothing than pan pipe music (which I listen to all the time, obviously).
Anyway, please don't stop making vids for DC, even if you scale back your poker playing. The site would lose a lot if you stepped away.

Yeah, your vids are extremely good. And what makes them stand out is that you talk 100% of the time even if there is no action on the tables. I feel like i have to watch them many times to really pick up everything you say. I really hope you will continue making NL 6max vids after movin on up, 6/5 stars!

Do you always play with those HUD-numbers in front of the cards,

so you have to wiggle the table to see the cards?
If so, why?

One thing that I don't see talked about much is psychology against players you just played a big pot with. For instance, Foxwoods doubled up on NeverBorn with the set of fives. Then a few hands later on the other table he check raise bluffs on the river with pocket 9's. I think it was a creative play that would definitely work at higher stakes like he mentioned.
However, wouldn't the fact that you just took nearly $1000 off him make him more inclined to call your raise? Not that he would be on tilt necessarily, but I think people might be a little more willing to call after getting coolered like that - especially when in a hand against the exact same person.
(not knocking on the vid or anything it was great, just tryin' to get some discussion goin' on a topic that I want to learn more about but don't see discussed much)
