Hey bosoxx, the reason your stats werent popping up is because you had another window replayer opened. HEM only allows 1 window for hand replayer that show stats.

Thank you, that was driving me nuts.

Very nice comment from Krantz covers very much of what you should try to talk in the next episodes.Actually it feels like this is what i meant with gameplan but this is much better put in words :-D

I liked the tiltstuff too. When i go down like 5-10 BI I lie in bed and think "oh man what a f*cking day poker sucks" perhaps one should better think "ok I made a mistake there and i just realized what it was and why it happend"

I think this series is going to rock because it will go from bottom to top. Frist doing basics and advancing very fast and efficent.

hi, you shouldnt take all the flush combos when u use pokerstove. I dont think that many players call 72s in the BB.

Well, I dont think even loose passive players will check/call 5,9,7, or 8
high flush and then check raise the river. If they had one of those hands, you would have heard from him earlier. He doesn't want to get sucked out on. While he is never bluffing in this spot, his range is probably nut flushes, k high flushes, and q high flushes.

It is definitely a fold, but the range you assign him is rather wide. jj is a huge stretch.

Agreed that JJ is a huge stretch and the smaller pocket pairs aren't even in his range. Also, thinking about it I do agree with you on the smaller flushes. That hand sort of showed why it's important to get multiple opinions on things.

You can also configure HEM to not show the red and green to signify if you lost/won the hand.

Bosoxx i loved how u compare tiltless mindset to that of Brad Stevens. It is a great analogy..

After the game when they to lost to duke he was totally detached from outcome. Reminded me of the mindset tommy angelo talks about in his series, hes always cool calm and collected.

Also implemeted your stop loss ideas (for me its 4 buyins) and realized it only works if there is only that amount in my account (i transfer the rest to another account) b/c when tilted I am liable to spew away my bankroll regardless of what "stop loss rules" i set in advance.

But great series so far.....I appreciate the tiltless advice b/c as a HU player u can never hear enough of it. Keep it comin in future episodes!

Yeah Stevens is the man. I watched that like 4 Butler regular season games this year and wasn't overly impressed with the team. I had them losing to UTEP in the first round, however Stevens stood out right away. If he decides to leave Butler he's going to be very rich.

I like the style.

I am a serial tilt-monkey.
With your stop-loss strategy - how do you cool off? How do you know when it is ok to reenter the fray?
Personally I have tried this but it is really hard.....

Thx

Watch TV, run an errand, play a video game, watch a movie, browse youtube, go for a run, etc.

As far as knowing when to come back, if I don't feel like playing I stay away otherwise I'll try again in like 30 minutes.

Hey guys, there will be a delay in Down of the Farm. Instead of finishing my last 4 episodes this season I'm going to open up with them at the beginning of next season.

I'm going to do this so I can get quite a few hands at 20 under my belt and then go from there. Haven't played 200 in a couple months and while I can't imagine the games changing too much, the videos will be much better by waiting a month.

It would have been so cool if you could make a video from one of your first sessions moving up a limit. Just to watch your approach to the game, in an early stage. Since this is a series of moving up the limits, and thats what most of the audience is trying to do.

Maybe half a session with you playing solo, and the other half being sweated by Kranz? Or Dogishead!? Agains the same type of opponents.

Thanks a lot for this series bosoxx34 and Krantz!

Signing up for Deucescracked have been the most beneficial investment I've done so far in my "career" .(I'm not a pro)Smile
This series have helped my play most actually. The tilt remedies provided are pure gold! Stoploss for Heads Up is very good advice. Idon't think I ever play my A-game if I'm down 3 BI vs a guy. Playing fewer tables is also very sound advice. Personally I seldom play good HU when playing more than one table. Think 2 tabling might be ok against the same opponent. But it is really difficult to adjust quickly and correctly to playing styles and such if playing different opponents on 2 tables.(hope I'll get to the niveau that I can do that some day) Even if you are playing the same opponent, you wouldn't get in many more hands, at least not at lower stakes. 2 tablers "down on the farm"Smile usually take they're time making decisionsSmile If you got significal skill advantage it can really hurt you when regards to tilt also. Taking bad beats on several tables in a short time span against a player you think you are far better than, really sets off tilt, at least for me. It's a lot harder to sit back and breathe, and reflect on leaving the tables to. In one of the first episodes you talked about looking for signs on tilt. These signs are much easyer to ignore if you play multiple tables.

Looking forward to the rest of the series! It's been really great so far.

I was really enjoying this series. One huge plus to it that other HU series seems to lack is that this one was tackling typical entry level HU stakes against REAL opponents. Many of the other HU video series it seems like either don't look @ entry level stakes or they hand pick their opponents in some way. As a Full Ring player looking to improve his HU skills, I'd like to see more series like this because the truth is that it's REALLY difficult to get started in HU. The rake is high and the players are very good @ the lowest $50NL stakes plus $50NL is not chump change when you're trying to learn. I really wish they offered $2NL HU just like they do 6max and FR so I could start somewhere.

I waited for you to add it on Pokerstove but you didn't. Am I the only one that sees 47o with a diamond, 47s as a very likely hand for a loose passive range?
