it's always about knowing your opponents. if you can't know your specific opponent, as you can't at anon, you need to know the player pool.

im surprised he folded, ive seen like one 3bet/fold on flop during my past 100k hands or so
but that might be cause i dont checkraise that much overall which is something i need to work on and widen my range with bluffs and more thin value (in the normal games) im too valueheavy..

anyway good video, i kinda like both formats, this way u can get more in depth but then again sometime it gets way too long for one hand, think i prefer live play and maybe sometimes put in a handreview video

definitely, i am usually not looking to bluff people who demonstrate strength. but a 3b does not always connote strength: i think i explain in the video why i saw this particular 3b as at its core quite weak.

it's inconsistent with how a value hand should (and, quite often, would) play this spot without history. even with history, where the EV of 3b AA here will go up, it is probably still higher flatting.

he took quite a while, which is not consistent with how someone who would 'induce' w/AA would play this spot. in my view, that kind of play is poor, and a player who took it would usually not need much time to process a spot and produce a simplistic calculation.

he has a lot of hands with which he can bluff here - hands that, in his view, are too weak to float, such as KT or whatever.

I play a lot of live, main game, and "Tells" are both overated much of the time, and misunderstood. The first thing to look at is his body language between hands, is he stressed, relaxed, looking for glaring at someone? This alone tells a lot about how he's going to play.

Next, during the hand, try watching the eyes. Most people can't/don't control their eyes. If they open their eyes after first glance, they probably like what they see, if their eyes remain bored, they didn't see much. There are tens of things you can watch, but much of it doesn't matter if you are at low limits, as many, if not most, don't really know what they have, their odds, their outs, etc.

Just my view on tells. They work when used right.
