I'll be playing intentionally aggressive next week!

Sick video again from the Diesel.
I don't have access to it at work, but one hand I wanted to ask about:
We have KJ headsup vs. a BB defender. On the turn the board is 9xT9, and you said this is a good board to bet because 1) worse hands (Q8 or 7J or somethng) will call and 2) we usually won't get checkraised on this board.
My experience has been the opposite with regard to number 2. That is, this is exactly the type of board that defendants are checkraising me on the turn. I feel like, if I'm likely to be check-raised, betting is especially bad with a gutshot and two overs (because I SHOULDN'T fold, imo). Have I just been running bad, or does this advice maybe change as you move up in stakes?
No, vs. more aggro/tricky opponents I like a check on that turn. My bet there was very villain specific.

So, if villain 1) would peel flop and/or turn very light and 2) is very passive and unlikely to c/r, bet? But, if villain 1) would not peel as light and 2) is more aggro and might take a shot at us, check and re-evaluate? Coolio.
Do you disagree with me that this is the type of board that bad LAGs might take shots at us on? Thanks.
No i definitely agree, especially when they think they can represent a 9 now.
Now, vs. some lags I would be there because I know I have the best hand - if the guy always c/r's a pair or decent draw and would have 3balled a nice Ahi pf, then I bet and lol call down.
Awesome vid once again!
btw Natto is a horrible japanese breakfast food. It is fermented soy beans that smell like ass.
You dont wanna mistake that for peanut butter.![]()

Hi
once again a very nice video - very informative!
But I have a question to the penultimate hand where you had 99 in the big blind on a 6QK board. You said you would fold to a flop raise but what would you do when he calls or raises the turn?

you said you would prefer just calling the 3bet with KK IP.
So, are you 4betting any hand at all against this guy IP?
what about playing OOP, would you 4bet good hands a mix or nothing?
I'm curious because I tend to flat OOP with any holding HU but I tend to 4bet the hands I would 3bet against this player. My thinking about this is IP I get more value from marginal hands and OOP I prefer to play a passive line with good aces and CR good flops or premium hands

mmm b/f a flush here is silly? Why? I think a lot of players will check back a fourth card flush even having TP but will call a bet. A raise means a better flush -dundi05 I think is not so agro to make a bluffraise on this board-

Looking back it probably has more to do with the player and the stack size. A lot of players go into a shell when I 4-bet and just c/c c/c c/c even AQ on a Qxx flop in these games. So, by forfeiting 1 SB pf I stand to make a lot more postflop vs. certain villains.
In tougher games or just vs. almost anyone else yes - jam in position.

i have a question about the isoraise,i felt i was told to be mindful of loose players in blinds when making this move.
am i right or how much is this a consideration,i also decide on isoraising or not depending on how well the session is going - how important or not is that.
