Villain in BB on tables 2 tanks and makes a really small 5bet after seeing a short fish flat your 4bet in the sb. Is there any argument for this being a rare spot to get away from AK? His line just looked absurdly strong as I rarely expect anyone to ever do this with JJ/QQ.

With QQ, like you said, villain's getting it in range here is mostly AK/AA/KK and he probably folds most other hands. However, it's not inconceivable for people to think your line looks like a good squeeze from the button. Thus, a small 4bet would actually a be a good bluff by the initially opener if he's thinking well. So, with that in mind, since you're ahead of most bluffs and crushed by a "get-it-in" range, what do you think of flatting the 4bet here in order to keep his bluff range wide and trying to get his bluffs to put in a bit extra? It seems that if we are going to get stacked by better hands anyway, we might as well try and squeeze a bit of value out of his air after the flop. What are your thoughts?

I lmao'd hard at this spot. 6/4 cold 4bet bluff? W T entire F? Do you think it's possible he 4bet folded AK/QQ or something?

What hand range you think is ideally to cold 4 bet bluff in such spots? And 'how frequently' do you attack such spots (as these spots come up a lot) ? As you menioned, you think this player pool will not play back, which probably means you can play back a lot in these spots.

How do you adjust vs this villain, and specifically vs his 3bets, after playing this hand?

I wanted to see the call for education with K9 lol.
Nice video man, you`re a funny guy.
I would really like to see you and Ansky switch for next week (maybe an idea), him playing FR and you 6m, get the best of both worlds.

TBH i expected more from this ZOOM series, I think the educational value of this series (at least for me) has been slim to none. funny, yeah sure.. but haven't really seen slowlane talk in depth about certain spots, ranges, dynamics or w/e

Watching this vid leads me to believe you haven't really played much ZOOM at all. Liked the last video from poemmel better, not because of the quality of the vids but because he was atleast making an effort at analyzing spots in depth in the comments.. something I haven't seen slowlane do tbh outside of laughing at the nits and calling for education.

I just feel like you can get way more out of zoom videos than what I'm seeing here, not flaming but just handing out some constructive criticism hoping for some quality improvement in the zoom video department.

You resteal vs. an unknown with AJ - I wonder how you would have reacted to a 4-bet, fold or get it in?

I'm pretty sure 4betting AA in this spot is more +EV than just calling. It probably would be better for CO to shove his remaining stack instead of making such a strong looking pot committing 4bet though.

You could make an argument calling with a 50bb stack to keep two guys in the hand is the best play, if you think the BTN is 3betting a half-stack light and the SB is cold calling the 3bet rather light. Without any reads I think it is a mistake to assume such a thing. To be honest I think 90% of the time it’s a mistake to assume such a thing in small stakes FR Zoom.

In my opinion vs. a 50bb stack most people get it in pre with AQ+, TT+. Some might get it in even a little bit lighter. By calling you lose tremendous value from AQ, AK and TT, JJ, QQ. These hands flop nothing or a board with an overcard way too often, while almost nobody would find a fold pre (unless the CO is a 6/4 or so). I don’t think getting a little bit more value from hands like KQs, AJs or maybe 99 is worth a call with AA here.

Assuming the CO has a 100bb stack it is still better to 4bet AA I think. Threads13 showed in one of his last videos that it would take a very, very aggressive opponent to make a call a better play. Unless you have a solid read somebody is 3betting light and then barrelling off with a very wide range 4betting AA is the better play even vs. the standard tight AK, QQ+ getting in range.

I would agree with you. CO should shove AA here. Quite Standard.

Hero calling with JJ is questionable as well. Come on, it is CO vs BTN. What ranges could u put them on? Esp BTN raise here, I am not giving him any credit for a strong range here. With JJ, just shove and get it in.

Why did you bet smallish on the turn here if you plan to shove river, esp vs a calling station?

On the turn, the fish might actually call you with a flush draw and will fold to your river shove? If you are hoping that the fish call you at river when you shove, he is even more likely to call your big bet or shove at turn.

Not a fan af the vid and format.

U make a lot of aggro plays but do not explain why. I'd prefere if you would record ur session and review.

Your thoughts are hard to follow for me and you rarely just finish one consistent thought.

There is no point in me watching you when I can't understand ur thought process.

Yeh I remember having this kinda gut feeling when the play was going down. I would agree that this could be one extremely exceptional circumstance to fold AK BVB.

I agree with everything you'd say but I'd make this play with AA (often) & KK (sometimes) as they are both exceptionally easier to play in 4b pots postflop than QQ.

Having blockers is generally good and all but realistically some great spots (like this one) don't occur too often and sometimes you just need to make the play when it seems profitable. Waiting for a similar spot with blockers = dynamics will have changed and they'll have more stats on me exposing my lagtardedness.

lol @ my commentary for this vid was so exhausted.

Ideal hands are obv Axs/Kxs but sometimes you just gotta go with what you get. Small pocket pairs can be ok cos atleast you always have some SD value.

I don't think I need to adjust. I felt sure he had the K. I called for education. I was right.

Normally I would just fold river and play it exactly the same otherwise.

Not really sure what you mean by this. There were definitely some lackluster moments in the first half of this vid (I explained why) but otherwise everything seems to be analysed as deeply as it could be. Perhaps it would help if you posted some questions?

Thanks for the feedback anyway and I'll look to go deeper in the future :-)

I just wanted to make sure he didn't anything he has and fish often just get to the river and shrug call with anything once the pot is so big.
