I was looking forward to this series, unfortunately, the sound is extremely low and contains some tube-like metallic echoing that makes it unwatchable. Hope you can get it fixed soon!

hey tappad, there was a recording issue on my end that tazultimate fixed. the tube sound wasn't there before (it was a scratching sound from nowhere), but the sound now is better than it was in my recorded copy. this is my fault and should be corrected in future episodes.

we opted to keep this version since the goal was to have live, real-time commentary. you get to follow my thoughts as i spewed them when i played!

hey terp,
whats your thought on using the cardmanager in early positions in order to be able to be more focused on other tables? i think using the cardmanager in late-postions is bad as i will miss lots of steal-situations and there are tables where i steal 100% OTB.
But i cant think of any circumstances where i open 72o or 32o utg. So wouldn´t it be a good idea to let the software autofold them and not getting interrupted from action/observation at an other table and therefore maybe be able to play on one more table?

whats your plan for the Turn and River when he calls your cbet?
would you bet Turn, shove River if for example Turn is 2o River 8o? or do you check at some point or bet small/blockbet?
whats you plan for the Turn if A or K hits or a 3rd club rolls of?

this is a good point, pittsen. i kicked around this at the start of my anon playing but haven't used it. this would definitely make sense for these games to help us pay more attention!

heh, play poker, i suppose

this is a fantastic spot for illustrating the dynamics of anon. i have to treat him as an unknown with the avg tendencies of unknowns at 20NL anon. something else worth mentioning, which i have not yet, is to think about the variance within tendencies. the closer people are to the avg player tendencies, the more educated you are in each spot.

i would say the player pool has been consistently straightforward and passive that i was pretty comfortable with how i would play this hand. my general plan would be to bet/fold on pretty much every turn card. i might consider weird bet sizing or checking on cards that would be particularly likely to induce a fold from his hands i want to get value from, such as an ace.

on an 8/2 runout, i'd still consider my hand the near nuts. i'm still b/f due to the lack of bluffing. i might not bet t/r for value if two overcards that weren't paired rolled off, too.

basically, my plan would be to go for max value, and this would require me not to overplay my hand according to how showdown happy these guys have been.
