Why are we iso-raising the fish here. We have the button and we also know he doesn't like folding so now we are playing a marginal hand against a guy who could have almost anything and isn't going to fold. Surely its far more profitable to wait for a big hand then iso raise large and go to value town. If it was 78s then it would be less marginal and you could even flat to get a large multi-way pot. Please tell me if im missing something here. thanks... great vid.

his read was that the limper plays fit-or-fold on the flop. If this read is correct then it can be okay. I wouldn't say it's standard.

As far as limping vs. raising, the nice thing about raising is you can make the blinds fold and pick up dead money. Sometimes I'll minraise here. You'd be surprised how often it makes the blinds fold.

QQ on K94dd 2: I think we can go bet-bet-decide vs a fish here? There's a bunch of draws and idk if a guy like this is folding a 9 to a turn bet, might even get a river bet out of him too. If he bluffs river vs a turn check he might bluff river even vs a turn bet and we also get value from his draws. And I also think it's nice to have a read of villain bluffing missed draws before assuming he will do it when thinking about betting vs checking turn.

Is it better to check flop with Qd than without? I know you've talked about this problem in other episodes too but I'd be more likely to check back Qd

JTss on 876ss K: I think I'd def bet this turn bigger with a draw like this. We're probably going to bet the river too so even as a bluff it's sort of for value. And we get more money when we hit, altho we're also risking more money, not entirely sure how the math works there. I want to bet this turn big for value too w/ TT+ (not that balance is a concern). I guess I could see us betting small with some really weak hand like 32o but we're probably not gonna do that since it's unsure how much FE we have on the turn so we'd most likely have to fire river too which then makes betting big on the turn better?
