Thanks for the series guys. Really enjoyed watching all the episodes and I do think that it was a good idea to start out with small stakes to introduce all the basic HU concepts... Helped me a lot!!

Im Op In video, Atleast WiltOnTilt thought I was repping A/A in that hand
Great dialog in this vid. Wilt asked all the right questions and Krantz gave great answers. Awesome finale befitting an awesome series... thanks guys!

I have my hand history loaded in the cardrunners heads up forum on the replayer if anyone is interested in it, On the 9/7 hand I played that hand like I would play A/A Krantz so WiltOnTilt would win 5k in the long run on that A/A/4/4 Bet, Btw sick chop, woulda shown but I had that Auto Muck feature on would have been great meta game for my feature opponents
.
I was surprised to see you didn't start limping the button more often considering he was 3-betting so much, did you keep opening because he was folding to 4-bets so often?

yea ship it!!!
btw for those wondering the 97 hand is around 45:24
shouldve offered him a free/discounted membership imo
also, i def think just calling the turn in the first AA hand is better than just shipping it in.
shouldve offered him a free/discounted membership imo
Who says they didn't? They had him stick around, I think it's a good possibility they did.
No they didnt but if you guys wanna offer it now, That would be Kool Lol.
Hey guys
Could you explain to me why we should limp the button as you say around 50:00?
You explained well when we should start to 4 bet against such an agressive opponent but I didn't understand why limping is a good solution.

Because when you limp he will make smaller 3bets, so you will be able to call them cheaply in position.
Limping the button is a good idea because, your controlling the pot size in position, and he can start to do things like Limp reraising me, basically playing a 3bet pot in postion.
One thing I noticed is that both times you picked up aces you pot raised faster than any other hand up until then. You did this vs. whitelime with some premium hands the first time you two played as well. The second time you got aces in this vid, he just defended which was very unusual up until then. When the flop came ugly he could have been putting you on a scared AA or KK, thinking he could blow you off the hand, which he nearly did.
Got a few questions...
7 mins in:
AA hand on turn why are you wanting to call/call rather than WOT idea of jamming the turn?
Are there any spots where we should go all in on this turn and why?
22 mins in:
AK Hand
On the flop you bet big.
What exactly are you trying ot achieve here by raising. I understand you are hoping for him ot bluff raise but are we then shoving to that? You have not seen him show a tendancy to bluff raise so why are you assuming that aswell. This is something Im slightly confused about and need further explanation on.

A9 hand on T96.
You bet flop and turn is T. You said if he had bet bigger on turn you probably would have mucked, why is that?
Are there any other turns you would be continuing on?
This hand just seems strange as your plan of action is to bet flop and then give up with a pretty strong hand vs his range that is all im confused about.

So we should do this with hands that we like but don't support a 3 bet? hands like 1 gap connectors? Do you have some HH about this? If yes, can you post 1 or 2 please? ![]()

Yes, limp those hands that you would be tempted to defend to a 3bet but probably shouldnt, like Q8s and the like. raise the button with stuff that is an easy fold or easy continue to a 3bet.

Wow this ^ is a great thread! I was left with tons of questions regarding limping when you were advocating that you're opponent should be doing so. I haven't heard much about it in the series.
On a more serious note:
I think we've neglected to mention the most important aspect about this episode which is clearly that Wilt completely dominated Rosenkrantz's winnings. haha
As well as the fact remains that Rozenkrantz effectively broke even, following his brilliant "catch trip 5s when shoving 52s preflop" play (among many other ways to describe it), before they began recording.
(yeah well you both could have gone busto and I'd still have pirate and clown nightmares.. don't mess with kilt and trantz)
I have my hand history ....

Did you ever post it on DC?
Thanks
