it's on my bucket list but I haven't done it yet. Many from KC will tell you that one of the locally owned restaurant sauces are best, but as much pride as i have for KC bbq, I have to disagree. I actually prefer "KC Masterpiece" (which is too "corporate" to be considered local) for their standard bbq sauce. If I want a sweet sauce, I prefer "Sweet Baby Rays." I still haven't found a great spicy bbq sauce, so for now my go to is the KC Masterpiece spicy version, but I know there are better options out there, I just haven't yet found one that stands out.

Sweet Baby Rays is my favorite "mainstream" sauce.

We should do a sauce swap. I'll send you the best Tennessee sauce in exchange for some local KC sauce

I would like to add one "Micro Myth", which is actually a piggy-back off of your "you can't bluff fish", which is, "when fish bet they aren't bluffing."

The particular situation that comes to mind is you iso a fish (you can be either IP or OOP), you hit the flop with say a FD on board, bomb flop, bomb turn, and either c/c river or call their river donk on a bricked out river.

I'm not sure how much money I have made calling this bet vs seemingly overly passive players, but I would bet it's a lot.
