I think it's +EV

Hi Dani,
Table 1 you say that a lot of hands of yours that get to the River have a jack in them but wouldnt it rather be 9x hands?
What Range do you put Villain on? If he had a strong Hand he would want to keep in your bluffs since you could be be barreling this Turn card with a wider range than on a blank.
What would you do with AK AQ kinda hands and why?
What do you think about his play?
Thank you.
I open most of the time any suited ace utg, isnt that fine?

Hey,
You can easily fix the hud to adjust to you selecting prefered seat.
If you have any issues, or need help, let me know. Can help fix it for you.
Cheers!

Big cards probably.

Seems a little loose.

5 bet w/ JJ for value. You said he will have AK and TT enough to make it +EV. Would he not have to have 99+,AQ in his 4 bet/call it off range for JJ to be (barely) ahead of his value range?
Great content as usual, it would be nice if you could maybe mix in some plo but just hold'em is nice anyways.
If you want your hud to match with your seat, you need to select a seat in the pokerstars' "preferred seat" option and then match it with Holdem manager's "preferred seat" option. The first time you do it, you should just open one table and let a few hands import, then the boxes should switch to the right places. It is important that you do not move the boxes before letting a few hands import.
Fwiw, I like having my hud set up in a very simplistic way. I figured that most of the times when I'm looking for specific stats I just click on the box to check out the pop up. So right now my hud only shows name/hands//vpip/pfr/3bet/fold3bet.
Hope this was somewhat useful.

Could you post the instructions here? Thank you.
so do u think a standard range UTG of A2s+ 89s+ QJo+ A10o+ and any pair is not ok, table dependent obviously? and wat u think of J10o, too loose,
thanks,
terrific video btw just terrific

I think that is far too loose.

I'd like to point out after watching this I think what I said here is very wrong, several things.
Like someone above posted, I don't actually have many jacks on this river. I can have JJ and AJ basically, maaaaybe JT, but I'd frequently check that and also JJ.
Secondly, I am not happy with my c/c river. I think his betsizing completely rules out QJ, and it's FAR more likely that he randomly makes a dumb call with something worse than a jack, than he calls w/ QJ.
Sorry for the screw up, just wanted to clarify that I played that hand and explained it wrong.
would u fold 22-55 and A10o, QJo, and A2-A4s , so 66+ A5s+ AJo+ JTs+ or is that still too loose?

Against strictly tt+ and AK, I have 43%. He obviously has worse than that sometimes, and sometimes is folding.

I don't think it's an exact science, but I'd say anything worse than A8s, ATo, KQo, QTs, 78s, starts getting tricky.
thx for vid Dani!
love this series
Good series. I'd keep enjoying the live sweat instead hh-review. 6 tables is fine but the max for a vid to follow action and interpret your discussion correctly.
For the HUD: someone explained it above already I think but choosing the preferred seat in the PS client [options > preferred seat > preferred seat at 6-player table]. You have seat 5, just go to HM > Hud options > seating preferences > Pokerstars and chose seat 5 for the 6-max option. It should now work withouth you having to move HUD boxes.

Hey
would really appreciate it if you could explain your thought process a little more on the Turn. I have problems putting people on ranges when they raise the Turn, like in this hand. What would you do with AK AQ? What do you think about his raise with his hand? You said later in the vid that you thought people were doing this a lot as a bluff on midstakes.
00:22:29
(turned set w/ 77 bottom right)
you didn´t even think about leading the turn, why? pro/contra?
30:30
u overbet when the flush hit on the river.. but do you ever overbet the river with a flush given its very likely he has an Ace type hand so he will fold. So when you overbet its very likely you are bluffing given you know he has an Ace type hand ? And you wont be betting that big..
I know its a leveling stuff but dont know if he should fold to your overbets that much since you most of the time wont be doing it for value. When he has an sd hand.
oh i seee you talk about it later ![]()

If I were in my own spot with AK or AQ or if I was him? I'd play it the same in my spot.
What exactly is your issue with putting people on hands? Typically they are representing a very strong range of hands to flat flop, then raise turn, as he'd only ever really do it with a strong 2 pr+ for value.

i know this is a basic spot but
on the bottom left hand - do you routinely fold 45s (or comperable) here?
is there merit to just always flatting or raising suited connectors 45s+?
I don't really think any of the 3 options are too bad.
Hey Ansky,
In the AJ hand when you get raised on the turn, what hands do you think villain expected you to bet-fold, and what hands do you think he expected you to call turn, fold river? What do you think of villain's preflop call with 76s, and is it something that you see frequently from other regulars at 400nl?

He may have
1) Incorrectly expected me to fold Ax.
2) Expected me to bet better hands than his as semi bluffs.
3) Expected me to bet/fold JJ-KK
Regarding pf, I'd say I do not often see that from regulars, and it is not necessarily profitable.
Great video series. What tracker do you use here? I assume it's PT3 since you're using it on Mac OSX and, if that is the case, how do you get the stats to float around like that? I mean, with the HUD box only being transparent?

Pretty sure this was on windows and therefore is HEM 1 or 2.
When I'm on Mac i use PT3.
The transparent thing is an option in the hud menu somewhere.. .
