How much wider is your defense range against sunnyday then against, say, DeathDonkey? or some random TAG? or how about a known HUHU guy?.. you can comment on just Kxo if you want, haha.

hah, I have no clue if it was this hand, but I do remember making a play on you once while you were tanking since it was obviously a marginal situation.

I always wonder about that. I feel like we tank a whole lot more while recording so that we can discuss things, even if they aren't super marginal. Are our opponents adjusting properly?
Probably not ![]()

After the fact do you guys think that this is a spot where we should be checking? It seems like you just bet for the sake of posturing. I don't think I've ever seen someone call with a 3
door, bink a 6
door, and fold 4th. I think we can definitely get put in a crappy spot if we bet and he raises though and we have to fold out our equity. Also if it goes check check and 5th street comes off like it does we can easily check/fold since the pot will only have 2 small bets+antes in it.

You might be right, at least against a normal solid opponent. Worth noting here is that he shows up with (9c8c)3h, so against someone who calls that light I think its a good bet spot.
Also, if the 6h really helped him a ton, I think that he probably would have raised 3rd. More likely is that he's defending with a somewhat marginal hand, and that the 6 helped some but not a ton.
Im sorry to bump a really old thread/video, but about 12 minutes in you fold 97774 to a sb open, when you know sb to be terrible. this is a pretty huge mistake imo. im pretty sure ive heard DD say that you should defend 86AAA vs a loose sb open, so this hand is an easy call.
