this is a great demonstration of exploiting our opponents where it appears we will ALWAYS take the same action twice.
in the video, i focus on splitting up the decision-making process across multiple streets; here, we take advantage of a spot where our opponent expects us to do the opposite. ansky should have
1) a lot of 5x in his flop c/c range
2) a LOT of 5x in his turn c/c range
and thus can actually c/c turn wider since his opponent would expect a river bluff to fail. thus, if ansky actually does face a river bet he has (and says in the video) a super easy fold.

terp, thanks for the video.
Hand with QcTc very interesting. Never thought about it.
Video remind me a spot where week regs donk blockbet with their week bluffcatchers vs polorize range. They think like:"Well i better bet small amount instead of ?\? big bet". Not the same poker situation like in video but same mindset leak. Without math of game theory difficult to explain mistake in this line. They never think about range of check, and frequency of c\c, and showdown value only because of scare.

yup, that is in fact the same kind of mistake - i could summarize this entire video series with 'think about everything.'
it's very easy to oversimplify very complicated spots out of habit, fatigue or results. i tried to think of the most common ones for this series, but i could probably go on forever! blocking bets, which is what i think you are referencing, are often the same concept - trying to set a price without thinking about things like
1) what range this represents
2) what the EV of this is versus the EV of c/c or c/r - they just think in absolute dollar amounts for THIS moment and hand
good point
