great series thank you!

It would be nice to continue with some more stud hi material or some high stakes live play, because it's probably the game less represented in poker video pages (alongside 27td and badugi).

good video joe!
00:39:25 how about bluff c/r in this spot instead of calling/folding, assuming that villains are good players. you said yourself that people play the river multiway extremely "straight forward"...or is the pot just way too big in order to bluff here? I mean, apperently you never bluff in this spot which makes it a good bluff, right?

What will happen now? Will you make a serie about any of the other games you teach in the from a donk to a stud serie?

That has been the plan for a long time. But it will not happen for next season. It's just a lot of work. I put about 8hrs/video in this series. I spent days thinking of how the material should be organized and what was needed to be complete. I feel I accomplished this. There will be mix game content coming for sure.

Fantastic Series Joe, i really enjoyed it and certainly look forward to playing some stud instead of the normal holdem grind.

For the next Series i thnk either Stud 8 or Razz would be awesome.

I really want to do a Stud8 series like this and then a Razz as well. Will take me some time to complete it like I want to however.

Joe, I just finished watching the whole series as you suggested and I really liked it. I am working on a number of different areas to improve my stud game, more ante stealing, etc.. I'm glad you are considering doing the same format for both stud8 and razz. I'll be looking forward to both. Thanks!

I've been working on my stud game for the past month or so and have had a chance to rewatch this series a couple times. I just wanted to give you a pat on the back because I feel that I'm really improving my game each time I go through it. Each time I catch new concepts that are pertinent in my current level and to my progress that I missed before.

sooooo...GOOD JOB!!!!!!!

Late to the party, I know, but just wanted to say Thanks, Joe, for a great series. As a Stud noob, I've found every episode really useful.

Would love to see your equivalent series for Stud 8 and Razz when you have time to make them.

Ever notice how we're never satisfied? :-)

Thanks again. Great job.

Oh I'm not satisfied either. Stud8 is next on the list and I'm nearly ready to start building it out.

I've always had a little trouble with the 7th street concept "if you know he will always fold one pair, but will call with two pair..." or the similar "if you know he will fold KK, but will bet with Ks up and fold to a reraise..."

My problem with the first is how do we know he folded a pair and didn't just fold a busted draw or a really crappy pair that we beat anyways. My problem with the second is when he bet/folds the river, we don't get to see his hand either so we don't know what he folded. If he was good he could have bet/folded naked KK when checked to right? I understand how both of the concepts work in theory just not how you can ever actually get this read vs someone.
