Wat @ making a 38 bb cold 4bet? with that sizing, 100bb deep eff. you can't really bluff, and any decent opponent should know that.

Maybe this is very different in FR though since people probably 5bet veeery tight compared to 5 or 6max, but still 38 bb seems huge.

12:00 - KK vs AA. Ezzzeee fold for me. raise meets 3b meets 4b meets 5b shove. I only get it in here vs a total fish. I do agree the raise should be bigger.

15:00 : A10s - guy limps then 3bets bvb. It's so weird, I just fold. We've only invested $7 in the pot....I feel we're going to lose a big pot or take down a small one here. Again, if he was some sort of maniac doing crazy stuff I'd call and flat the flop. I think the board is too dry to really go about shoving...and I still believe he can fold a small PP here because with that board he's only beating spew-shoving AQ/AK type hands.

16:00 : QQ - just donk the flop, donk the turn and get it in. As played, the check raise is definitely best line and it's just a sick cooler from the limping passive fish.

19:00 : AK - I fold AK vs tight regs a lot because I feel we just have to 4b get it in and they never show up with AQo, so we're dominated or coin flipping. This alters with guys who 3b all day a wide range of course. Toontown plays the hand pretty bad in my opinion, I definitely think he should just shove PF...as played he should bet the river for sure. I think opponent misses a lot of value.

Great video btw. I really enjoyed this.

Are you leveling in the KK hand? "he has AA 80%....we have to call". That is just bad poker.

In a 200 game I'd expect AA here AT LEAST 99% of the time.

There are enough donks out there doing this with AK or QQ to make this a call. I'd consider folding KK against a reg ( I doubt I would actually fold), but not a random. I'd say Nolan's 80% is accurate.

No level'ing. 80% is about right to me.

I don't claim to be the best on earth and it's certainly possible I'm wrong but I've played a couple hands in my day.

From my quick math I think, he needs QQ+ about 50% of the time or QQ+-AKo+ around 40% of the time with strictly AA making up the rest of the range for this to break even. I don't really know for sure how to do the math with weighted ranges though.

Ive only watched the last two, they seem pretty good overall. Nice to go over some of the basics sometimes. Just wanted to comment that my favorite thing about these reviews is that they have been nice and short. I mean I dont mind the hour long live videos but sometime a 50 min HH review can get really boring. Felt like you went over quite a bit in a short amount of time.

Gotta cast my vote against all the people that are in favor of the 30-minute or less vids. If someone doesn't have time to watch a full hour, or can't focus for that long, then they can pause after 30 minutes and watch the rest later. I want as much content as possible and I'm worried about this starting a trend where all the series will move towards being 30 minute episodes instead of 60 minute episodes. And unless we're getting 2 episodes a week, that means we're only getting half as much content as before.

Don't take this as a slight on your vids, Nolan, you know I'm a big fan. I just don't understand why people are pushing for less content to be released.

honestly not liking this episode...compared with the other episodes this one hasnt a lot of interesting stuff and at some point i was rather confused than enlightend :S

and i agree with mogwai316 that 30min is just too short for a good, in depth analysis vid.

sry for the harsh words but i wanted to tell my thoughts .

insta snap fold with kings.. even when he pushes kk+,aks you still have not enough equity.. i think his range is just kk+ and a clear fold with so much money behind.. he must push ak or qq here more often i dont see it
