Its strange you keep referring to the HUD but it doesn't show up on video?
Much prefer student sweats format, more stats on regs and more helpful you correcting players at my skill level.
Looking forward to the 2.5 vid!!

I'm kinda surprised you didn't raise his small bet on the flop. His range is likely either nuts or air here but isn't that a good time to re-raise?
I am curious because I run into this a lot- there are a lot of players at the micros who have goofy bet sizing and do things like raise 1bb into a pot of 12 bb. I almost always re-raise at this point like 3 or 4 times their bet and they almost always fold or re-raise big.

If someone either has the nuts or air, why would we raise? Think about what they do with those hands if we raise. They fold their air (that sucks because we get no more money from them if they were bluffing) or the raise with the nuts (which sucks because we obv can't call).
Yes Slowlane, Liking the vids.
At the start of the video you flat an UTG open in MP with 9Ts but then 17 minutes in you fold AQs to a 4X from UTG+2 in MP.
I would be flatting in that spot vs that type of player pretty much every time. Is this a big leak in my game?
I feel it has value in position and it seems odd to me you would fold that yet call with 9Ts.
Some explanation and thought process would be appreciated

I wanted to ask this after your first video, but are you detaching your chat or is there some way to get rid of it completely. Personally I love how clean and non-distracting it looks.

Please provide time links when I post about specific hands.
There are a few things to consider here:
1) What is Villains UTG opening range? You can figure it out quickly by comparing his pfr and steal %.
2) Who is behind us? If there are weak players in the blinds flatting becomes more +EV.
That being said I can take a stab and say that on the 9Ts hand there would be atleast 1 weak player left to act and on the AQs hand it was likely just regs.
Flatting AQs vs MP1 isn't a huge leak by any means. It just comes down to your opponent, who is left to act behind and also your ability to play these hands profitably. You could always setup a filter to see if you're +EV with doing so :-)
JJ I am using detached chat...
Okay cool, this is something I always take note of as I have been 24 tabling a bunch to make Supernova... I know obv it isnt optimal but gotta be done when grinding out a goal.
Would you be able to help me on how to set up that filter to see if I am playin hands +EV, I am not familiar with a filter like that. TY

Folding AQo on Table 4 PF (besides raising it on table 2 at the same time)
Would you really recommend to fold AQo PF UTG? Your HUD isn't visible so the reason may be found there. Would be great if you could explain that again.

Just filter by hands (choose whatever hands you want to use, eg T9s or AQo) and by position (just select UTG and UTG+1 or w/e you want).

Unless there is a specific reason to (like a weak table or player in the blinds) then an AQo UTG open will be -EV for most people viewing this video. I think even for myself it would be so. It's probably quite close but for people who are starting out or trying to figure out how to make their way through the stakes I wouldn't recommend it unless they're very comfortable at that stake.
You can do what I've suggested in the above post and set a filter to see if you're +EV with it (though you'll need a large sample).
